  • So musikalisch.....

  • This is fantastic! With more training I hope we will be able to hear this wonderful voice in top opera houses.

  • it's acceptable for a woman to be disguised and sing orsini or oscar or even tancredi... But not for a man to sing norma, trovatore, borgia??.... Sounds like a double standard for me... If we have men like this one with such a voice... Why can't he sing norma?... I personaly would sing one hell of a rossina (i'm a speedfire coloratura).

  • why not? it's good, congratulations....Maria would be proud!

  • This is you at your best...beautiful job!

  • wow havia escuchado esta piesa en otros contratenores pero solo en ti me gusto, felicitaciones, una duda de voz de pecho eres baritono?

  • @unjorob

Thank you, for your posts. Yes, I had begun my vocal study as baritone and "switched" to countertenor only in four years.

  • @hautecontrre "Switched" means that with the vocal work your voice naturally goes from baritone to contratenor?

  • @galletitamortal It means, I'd just begun to develop exceptionally my high register ("falsetto", call it as you wish).

  • @hautecontrre But "contratenor" doesn't means that a men naturally have a woman range voice?... I'm bass and with falsetto I can sing as a mezzo or contralto but it's not my natural coloratura of voice.

  • @galletitamortal I have to disappoint you, but it doesn't.

"Naturally" (within the meaning of "without male voice at the bottom") soprano, mezzo-soprano or contralto could be only women or castratos (excluding children).

All these conversation about "natural castratos" nowadays are fairy tales. Nature don't have this kind of exceptions at all.

I can still sing in bass-bariton range. Sometimes I use it for fun :)

  • Well done!

  • Vielen Dank, Herr Belcunto!!!

  • your 2 year anniversary for the casta divo - bravo!

  • This young man has a beautiful quality to his voice. I hope he gets the support he needs to continue his studies at postgraduate level.

  • When I heard those higher notes I thought I'm almost listening to a... diva...very good!

Does not sound much like a more typical counter tenor, those higher notes do not sound as forced and freaky as is sometimes the case.

  • talento!

  • It is strange, but I liked it, ha ha. Congratulations!

  • Molodez! Davai Mozarta s orchestrom!

  • Interesting you've arrived at a point where you are a soprano? Nice to hear youwith orchestra. How I wish I could teach you the bel canto method but realize you haven't been exposed to it in your country. It would have been interesting to have heard you sing the Ah! Bello a me ritorna. You sound better here than in Semiramide. Strange what you did at the end which departs a lot from Bellini. Look at Ah Non Credea Mirarti, your old friend- Umberto

  • What a waste of a great vocal talent! It is a pity that someone obviously gifted, vocally and musically, sings repertoire that puts him immediately into the "Freak show" category. Get the right repertoire for your voice (and there is much!) and let us enjoy your work and contribution!

  • @DrGarri he is my casta dio...

  • @DrGarri Totally agree. It is absolutely a desecrating rendition for this part was written for a female soprano!

  • @MisterPapageno

Oh! Das tut mir leid! :^)

  • La voz de este joven es hermosísima, parece una soprano de coloratura, se ve que su talento traspasará cualquier frontera y será un icono para los contratenores que vengan.

    Felicidades.

  • Los muchas gracias!
