Keith's riffing is much more forceful than on the studio version - and works great. He plays the Telecaster like it was a hunk of hardwood. Thank fuck he does.
Is Charlie thinking, "If you guys realized how awful this sounds compared to the studio version, you'd make a public apology?" I've seen so much of Charlie's eye-rolling in these live videos, I have to wonder. Hahaha.
@COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY Makes it interesting he is always changing words and rithms .. if you like the stones you problably know beat of burden.. They have like 50 of these.. Look for BOOTLEGS
@SantiVidal19 yea, started listening to them in about 1974. had Exile and many LPs all original. Black and Blue is a classic and this track is one on it's epic tracks. Yes, there must be tons of bootlegs
@COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY You can get them by TORRENTS.. anyway they are not for sale... so download them.. throught the years I got almost 50 gb of stones Music. 10 different per song LOL ... I love how they change rythms and Words... I dont felt bad about downloading cuz I have the entire CD collection on my car CD case ... But get the Bootlegs from Torrents.. Youll love them .
@SantiVidal19 do you know anyone who smuggles phones etc into concerts? In the old days they must have used 8mm cameras and audio cassettes etc. See the Joy Division live version of "Colony" on YT
@SantiVidal19 Are you talking live stuff? I see nothing wrong with that -- especially if they're unlikely ever to release it and you buy plenty of their stuff anyway. And I believe in protecting artists' rights...but nothing's finite on this score...
@dockasier~~OH PLEASE, MICK DOES'NT SCREW UP!!! {BUT, IF HE WHERE TO, HE IS HUMAN!} I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU GET UP ON STAGE AND DO 1/2 A GOOD A JOB AS HIM!
so the agreement between the team is a great concert are very focused on work and hear the effect .... This is the essence of the Rolling Stones at their best, we see in this picture and hear the applause rolling stonses
@StonesTime Keith plays telecaster, sometimes a Gibson es 335, and also a les Paul jr in Midnight rambler, and acoustic Martin, oh yeah. He is too sophisticated for a strat, that´s what I think, but they look good.
Not that i was there, but these paris 03 shows reveal how the stones have re-invented their own catalogue of work in the live arena like no one else,a lot of these live numbers outdo some of the original recordings. Thanks for posting them.
i like to see them bring out the more obscure tunes - i've heard sympathy enough, at least the way they do it now.

Great song off a terrible album. Glad they dusted this one off. Still waiting to hear them dust off Emotional Rescue.

@PsychedelicSusan True. He's without doubt the coolest drummer OF ALL TIME. Even Ringo will admit as much. Fact.

@MsCaleb79 The first time I saw Charlie (1965) he looked so cool that I decided right then and there to be a drummer! It drove my mom and dad crazy.
