is it just me or did anyone else hear some car if not the charger let off after the launch and i love the stance btw low and streamline i meen i love a wheelie as much as the next person but id wrather have my car goin like a bullet down the track that is sick but i drive a 79 dodge stepside now i put away the slicks and pulled out the super swampers muahaha
i like the 68 better sick of the general lee its to over done.... but its still muscle... but nice run 7.6 and didnt even look like it was full throtal the whole time
yeah the 68's "Bullet Hole" taillights as they called them gave it a nice touch. The 66 might have been ugly, but remember it was the FIRST charger, and if not for it, maybe not the nicer designs we got just after ;)
It was obvious man!!! DODGE CHARGERS were the most fastest car ever made in 1968 in America. Really, not a lot of them cars lost a race. They're just gorgeous. I love them. The noise, the aggressivity, the look... Every single thing look good!!! On them cars.
@SHAFTYB Actually the 68 Dodge charger's were not the fastest cars in america. The 1968 Cuda SS 426 hemi and the 1968 dodge dart SS 426 hemi were and were the fastest cars from the factory in the 1/4mile until the Veyron came out in the 02? But they were the most beautiful of the muscle cars ever made. And with the 440 and the 426 Hemi they rarely lost a race on the street.
@rodriguezc17 Actually they were sir. Super Stock. Not Super Sport like the Chevrolet's. They were built for the Super Stock class of AHRA and NHRA and they were called the SS Darts and Cuda'sfrom the factory.
@Boredout454 1968 Hurst Hemi Dart and Cuda you mean.....10.5 sec for 400m,out of the showroom....68 Chargers may not have been the fastest, but they were the nicest looking Muscle car ever built
@68bobba Oh absoulutely the 68-70 Dodge Chargers were the, still are, the most beautiful muscle cars (or cars period in my opinion) ever produced. Yes they were done by Hurst however unlike Ford or GM they werent done in secret or just for the sponsored drag racers. Mopar paid Hurst to take the Darts and Cuda's and then once they were done shipped back to Mopar where they were painted and sent to the dealerships and sold to whoever could afford them. Btw they were driven on the street.
