Frost is not a prick. I agree that he shows off too much, but, is that what we are looking for in a clarinet player? He may not be charming, but his playing is great. I agree, he suits more in contemporary music. I don't like his personality either, but he has done a lot for the clarinet.

This performance has so much energy. I feel it's always moving forward. So much texture and color! great acoustics. Absolutely fantastic job!

ive met him actually, I used to love what he did and he wouldn't even sign a CD. He was a prick about it, he seemed really big headed, so I started listening to other players. He is only good at one thing anyway, playing contemporary music. There are other people he will never match in performances of things like Mozart. He is too much of a show off, it loses what music is really about for me.

@Gandalfgrayhame Yeah and have you for example listen to Andrew Marriner playing the Mozart concerto ? That's a great playing of Mozart that Martin Fröst can't match.
