I have always been a fanboy of Nokia. The company has had good support, solid phones and enough competency to make the software I needed to work. At the same time I have torn out my hair due to windows 6.5, had tons of trouble with the slow and unstable Internet Explorer and am having problems getting things to work how i need it to in Windows 7. I feel boxed in, being forced to use Microsofts solutions. At least i'm not totally locked in as with Apple, but they will have a shitload to prove.
its your opinion, my opinion is wp7 is the best i have used, and its clean, sexy, and faster than any other phone out there. those huge squares are active animations can change ccording to the notification any time, all arranged in one place, people, messages, games, all clean and easy to reach with one single touch, no side scrolling through countless mess of apps scattered around the screen. and wp7 already has over 3 million users.
@Already1have Spend some time with a windows phone. You'll realize at least 2 things about those tiles. 1. Some of them are not static, they come alive with colors and notifications. 2. Pinning 3rd party apps to your start screen will give you the same multi-color display you may be used to on other phones.
I'm sure you would realize a whole lot more if you actually spent some quality time with a wp7 before pronoucing it DOA.
im kinda scared how the phone didnt respond to the first time he did the slide to unlock at @1:07

Metro UI will drown Nokia..
A bunch of HUGE one-color squares and a rectangle..
Who want's to buy a cell phone to look at those one color squares all day long?
What a waste of screen-space due to those huge squares..
Nokia Windows Phone 7 is dead on arrival
