  • Whats with all the rubbish floating everywere,disgusting..some pigs in your neighbourhood, need a fine or two.

  • It's a flatback designed to have a motor.

2 is cool but 18hp is insane.

  • cetedone: Cledone, the motor can get you up river to where you would have ordinarily put in, then, where and when you like, you can float/canoe back down. It saves all the scheduling and hassle of shuttling and allows the canoer to take off on their own. Done it many, many times.

  • up in zama alberta we use 6hp on 16 ft aluminum canoes and they somehow get dentsin them . I think its something to do with the beer though

  • win

  • I run a Osagian Cargo Canoe. An Evinrude 8. Great Combo. And then there's the troller. Has to be set up right. Coast G approved for 1/2 ton. It will float in 8 inches with a load. A hoot to run light on a lake.

  • That's a picturesque day right there.

  • puts out some pretty mean wake!

  • I just riged mine up with a 3hp, had to fill up the front with rocks as a counterweight, if I dind't, the rear would go under... lol

  • Very strange people, to put a gas motor on a canoe. An electric trawler, sure. But the best part of canoes is to go to those great fishing spots the gas-powered boats can't go.

Of course, just my opinion. Do what makes you happy!

  • well my canoe as the 4 hp gas for long trips on big lake, i have a 55 lbs trust motor for place where the outboard cant go

  • @ctedone troller dumbas

  • @ctedone he can lift it out of the water and still go where motors can't go, also, smaller gas boats can go in tight places too with oars.

  • @ctedone whats cool about that is...its still fucking can dumby

  • @ctedone I like a canoe with a gas motor.
