I've been exposed to the virus a number of times, yet never got HIV. Most doctors believe it was Europeans who survived the bubonic plague developed a resistance to HIV. That's why some folks get very sick very fast from contracting HIV and some don't. It affects people differently. HIV is a deadly disease.

I've known people with AIDS my entire life and it's common knowledge that many DO NOT get sick and that even many more appear to be completely immune from the HIV virus from contracting it because their bodies seem to have a natural response to killing the virus (which was true in my case).
But I was an avid member of Act Up in the 80's and we NEVER told people it was a death sentence, because it never was.

@ColonPal Maybe after a few years, I could see it, but after THIRTY years, for AIDS to be mainly confined to male homosexuals, drug users, and STARVING Africans, shows that it is not caused by a specific infectious agent, germ or virus. It has not spread from "HIV positive" people to their spouses, even after YEARS of unprotected sex. And the expression "HIV positive" needs to be in quotes, because those tests are EXTREMELY unreliable ---- so unreliable as to be worthless.

@mooninquirer True...even the test kit manufacturers do NOT claim their products can make a SPECIFIC diagnosis or what predictive value their products have. "Hiv" criminal cases have started being thrown out of court because without scientifically valid tests they have no evidence of any crime taking place.

This was received only 3 days before Gallo sent in the Science papers for publication, When the papers appeared in print, they still contained photos credited to Gonda, with Gallo LYING saying they contain HIV.
