I really wish I could answer those questions, but to be honest I did this as a project for a freshman year engineering project and don't really know much else about the subject. Everything presented here was found from various sources I site at the end.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Actually got a C- on this, it's nice to know someone thought it was good
Thanks for your cool work. I am so into bioremediation! A few Questions:
Have you tried these organisms on pestidices such as neonicotinoids or glucosphates? How long does the bioremediation take? How much does it cost to generate the organisms per oz substrate and once the soil is innoculated, do the organisms survive forever? Are there any bio-hazards associated with introducing these little anaerobic oil guzzlers into organic environments long-term? Are they potable? Thanks!
