@nyyfans8 Just get a regular servo. Like he did (I bleive) he connected the chain to one side of the servo, so that when it turns a certain way it loosens out the chain, and when it turns the other way it pulls back the chain lifting it....

I really wanna do this, but I have one question for him- What did he make the hinge out of? And did he just bend a peice of aluminum/metal?

Well I am close to 3 times your age, however my son who is 11 yrs old was the brains behind this. You can easily make one. Probably much better.
