I'd like to translate for you but it's hard to deliver the nuance of the lyrics... I think if you could understand Korean that's the best way to feel the song..imo

You are correct. She was told that she did not have the look that they were looking for. They knew she had an amazing voice, but that was not enough for the Korean record lables. Thankfully, the Japanese lables were smart enough to get her into the studios. She is without a doubt the best in the business.
I don't understand it but it's seems like such a great song...ugh, too bad it looks as though no one's translated it yet. Thanks for the upload though ^^
