  • Be an atheist all you want (despite abundant scientific evidence that is laughing at the idea that life could have formed from nothing). Yet carrying forward with the lie that liberals were behind ending racism and slavery is just too much. Study your history please.

The Republican Party was FORMED for the very purpose of combatting Democrat slave-proponents. And a hundred years later, Democrats were still fighthing Christian / conservative efforts to grant fairness to blacks.

  • One thing about America, you can be anything you want so long as you abide by the laws of man; however, God also has laws that people have forgotten. This video is totally opposite of what God teaches concerning the earth or how we’re to treat our brother. These ridiculous Atheists go on and on about their pet peeves, but have never read about the laws of God concerning man and the earth, which would answer all their gripes, but they don’t bother to read his word to get the truth of the matter!

  • @1LonePuma Go back to the Dark Ages. THIS IS THE 21st CENTURY!

  • @Ragnarblackmane12: It would appear you don't understand English. God is the same yesterday, today and forever! It's not the Christians who are punishing you, we're simply trying to throw you a life-raft, preventing you from drowning by your own stupidity. God has offered a solution to your sin that must be judged, if you can't accept it, then it will be judged. As he says, those found with sin will be judged. Jesus came to cleanses us of all our sins. The choice is yours!

  • @1LonePuma Have a good day sir. Goodbye.

  • @Ragnarblackmane12: Yes, bye!

  • wisconsin should be in jesusland

  • @harleyd089

Greg Graffin from Bad Religion is from wisconsin!

  • Atheists should be libertarian or classical liberal. New liberalism seems to be a bit too statist for my taste.

  • Great Vid Man - You've probably heard this, but the night before Ted Bundy was executed his gave an exclusive interview to James Dobson (Christian fanatics Focus on the Family.)

Irony huh- Christianity and Serial Killers?

  • Well I didn't like the movie all that much. The song was very good though, a little bit reminiscent of Stairway to Heaven. Who is it by?

  • Im a conservative and I like trees, whales, civil rights, and womens rights, unborn baby rights, future generation rights, religous rights. In fact I don't know any conservatives with a chain saw or a harpoon. Im going to stay conservative and keep liking trees, either your video is wrong or evolution has made millions of errors like me that don't conform to your logic / reason. Do you send us to a reform camp? I don't get it.

  • @TheEzekiel38

You're right, you don't get it.

  • @AntEyeTheist

There was a nice Christian guy named Thomas Jefferson who wrote An Act for establishing religious Freedom, who said Almighty God hath created the mind free. You propose it is not free that it is subject to a brand of aethistic logic. Being bound to Logic & reason doesn't sound all liberal to me

Perhaps you could take your cause to the streets of Iran, Yemen, Saudi, Turkey, Armenia, Sudan, Lybia, China, N. Korea, Lebanon, Syria then come back and tell me I don't get it.

  • @TheEzekiel38 Thomas Jefferson wasn't a Christian; he was a Deist, and only loosely so at best. His beliefs today would have him labeled as an agnostic, though with the knowledge we possess today I'm sure he'd become a full atheist quite happily. Only the Declaration of Independence carries ANY mention of a creator of any kind and NEVER specifically references the Christian one. The Constitution is completely devoid of ANY mention of them because TJ, BF, JA and many others wouldn't permit it.

  • @TheEzekiel38

    Thomas Jefferson said:

"Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man."

And ".. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear."

  • This was actually put together pretty well. Very enlightening. You may not realize it, but you are spiritually intuitive.

  • The US - got the best of things, got the worst of things.

  • @Menak666 I largely agree with you. There is no denying that conservatives in the US rely on the vote of the religious right. There are however conservatives who adhere to their views with little or no regard to religion. I just felt this video blended conservatism with religion to the point that they were indistinguishable.

  • This is great, Good job my friend Good job indeed.

  • Brilliant, Ant....thanks! I'll post this on Facebook!

  • @ElNerdoLoco You are right, I did make some generalizations in order to make my point.

Maybe I should start all my videos with, “Generally speaking”.

    I understand your argument.

I think the problem is that moderates don’t speak out, so all you hear are the lunatic fringe.

We need “Extreme Moderates” in this country.

We can call ourselves “EM-Memes” constantly evolving for the betterment of mankind.

  • @AntEyeTheist Actually, I did overreact as a result of being called to defend my initial statement. I felt the generalizations were rather obvious and that shaped my responses. I have to admit that conservatives would not be so specific in their distinctions in order to remain factual. That people like me exist and hold people like you to a higher standard may be detrimental overall. You should have the same tools they employ. Even if your supporters tend to be critical.

  • What's the song?

  • As a scientist, I'm sorry to report that the USA is indeed turning into a third world country - science is being destroyed here while it goes ahead elsewhere. The recent election of republican know nothings will probably be the final blow, following The Bush Destruction.

  • Great video!! ; )

  • I am an Australian atheist currently living in Indonesia. I recently was told (by a few sources) that it is nearly impossible for atheists in Indonesia to get jobs as police, government workers and other state run jobs. This is because part of your national ID card requires a religion. Not having a religion, it makes it very hard to apply for work and most people will pretend to be one of the 6 recognised religions.

  • @CrazedCousinDougal The reason for this is that in the 1960's, Atheism was associated with Communism. As a way to "avoid the communist threat", the concept of "compulsory religious affiliation" manifested in a number of ways. Even now, my friends in Indonesia wonder how someone can be a good person or citizen without religion. After getting to know me, they no longer have any qualms about it. Even so, being an Atheist here is not conducive to many daily things we take for granted...

  • @CrazedCousinDougal Issues like marriage (which is difficult if not done through religious channels), obtaining a national ID card and many other things are very difficult in Indonesia. On the other hand, religious groups have a tremendous amount of sway over the government, determining what is moral and immoral. I am subject to religion in various laws that exist within Indonesia. That being said, everyday people here are friendly and very open to me. Non-secualrism is the problem...

  • Very well done, thanks for posting this. The only criticism is that I didn't recognise some of the people whose pictures you showed. I would suggest annotations or links.

  • Great Vid!!!

  • Awesome vid!

  • Well done.

  • Good video, I hope it reaches more people.

  • You know, the conspiary theorists people say "follow the money" alot as well. Just sayin...

  • Good fucking work!

  • @ElNerdoLoco Conservative Republicans are the religious right.

  • @RedLeprachaun No, conservative republicans who's religious beliefs are the basis for how they vote are the religious right.

  • @RedLeprachaun There are many conservative atheist Republicans. they would take offense at being called religious.

  • @ShaundalynChic Name one.

  • Robert Heinlein is one of the most well known science fiction writers. He wrote extensively both on his conservative political values as well as his atheism and he was Republican.

Have you never heard of the Lob Cabin Republicans? They are a group of gay Republicans. A large well financed group. They are Republican so to be conservative on lowering taxes & spending, for limiting govt & are pro-defense. Being gay, not many are religious; several are outspoken atheists in addition to being gay.

  • @ShaundalynChic Heinlein has been dead for a 1/4 of a century.

Name me one relevant, atheist, republican, today, on todays scene.

Atheists want no part of a political party that seeks to promote faith over science.

  • @RedLeprachaun "Name me one relevant, atheist, republican, today, on todays scene."

    David Horowitz

  • Jesus was a liberal. He preached against accumulating material wealth. He preached sharing. You sound like a Jesus follower.

  • Very nice. Like the work.

  • absolutely first class
