mirrors edge on Xbox360 doesnt have PhysX cause I do not see any blinds or plastic (the extra scenery crap) anywhere

This is for state of the art PCs, the XBox 360 is like 4 years old.

Oh, and the whole time I played this game with PhysX turned off... in fact, I didn't know my 8600 GT had that feature. How ignorant of me o.O

your 8600GT will only do this if it is a secondary card on a motherboard with 2 or more PCI-E 16x slots. If you have for example, a GTX 260 as your primary video card, and your 8600GT as a secondary, you can set the 8600GT to handle Physx only, while your GTX 260 handles the graphics.

I have one 8600 GT, I enabled PhysX in the game and it works. But it crashes randomly :S

Because you have Mirrors Edge 1.0, there are reported issues with crashing every few minutes. Days after it was released, they came out with the 1.1 patch, just download it and it will stop crashing. That being said, I am surprised an 8600GT will run physX so on your cpu. My 8800GT Dipped below 20FPS, so I upgraded to a GTX 260 and use my 8800GT for physx

PhysX is pretty cool, but I think it consumes too much card memory. (Especially in HDs)

Thats why Nvidia created Physx, so you could use a second Nvidia video card to run the physx, without a performance hit on your main video card.

the 4870 can handle almost any game on highest settings. It beats my 9800gtx (I really hate to admit). PhysX won't lagg the 4870 because he put a 8600gt dedicated to just rendering the PhysX.

Look at the absolutely insane lag that is a slide show when the glass is breaking.

I have a very powerful computer and had to turn it off, it goes from 60fopsto 6 fps when glass breaks.

2x 4850's & Q6600 @3.6ghz.

Its bad coding if you ask me, no reason why a 3.6ghz quad cant handle some physics. Besides Nvidia is behind it what do you expect? 2 Examples

Crysis-Nviida sponsored crossfire just does NOT work at all, but SLI works fine.

Assassins Creed: Game came out with DX10.1 ATI cards were the only ones that could use it.. ATI was beating Nvidia bad due to that, Its a Nvidia sponsored game. First patch DX10.1 was removed from the game.

Now Nvidia owns Phisix....
