The fact that it doesnt have dualcore is kind of sad, but not a HUGE deal. Coming from the SGS2 to the N9 I foresee as being no real problem in that regard.

The iPhone has flawed reception... My motorola on vodafone gets signal everywhere... My brothers iPhone 4 fails all the time. And the sound quality is so poor.... All it has is apps and a really nice screen. Why can't you iPhone idiots look beyond that and see that's it's a poor communication device. iPhone killer... Both the cars can go 100ks, but bmw has more features, more raw power and response/ acceleration compared to corolla. So, if you have the money wouldn't you buy bmw? By your logic everyone should just drive a corolla as it can achieve that limit which everyone requires. Get real and think logically and realistically.

Because they are simple and does their job well. Just that! You don't provide a killing and expensive hardware to find a hard problema to solve, you usually do the oposite. So if you create a monstrous OS to do simple things you really need a expensive hardware.

@ferrabras - Like i said, i change my phones after every 3 months if they release a good one. I have used N8, galaxy s, iphone 4 and some htc phones as well. Now, i m using galaxy s2 and it's probably the best phone till now. N900 was a great phone by nokia but too bad they killed maemo 5. N8 was another fail in terms of software and hardware point of view except camera which is outstanding but too bad i have my own digital cam. So, you see nokia has been fuckin up real hard. N9 will be a fail.

@ferrabras - I understood your question, there is no mistake there. I ll give you a good example - BMW (S2) vs Corolla (N9). Now, the road has the speed limit of 100 ks. Both the cars can go 100ks, but bmw has more features, more raw power and response/ acceleration compared to corolla. So, if you have the money wouldn't you buy bmw? By your logic everyone should just drive a corolla as it can achieve that limit which everyone requires. Get real and think logically and realistically.

@ferrabras - Well, I respect your pov but i talk to the point you know. S2 is miles ahead of N9. Look at this gpu comparison - N9 (14 million polygons) vs S2 (128 million). I mean S2 is in another dimension. So, it's not even a competition. Nokia has been struggling for the past 4 years. Their last 3 phones have been big fail such as N96, N97, N8, basically the software ruined the whole package and definitely outdated hardware as well. Now, the upgrade to S2 would be even better than that.

BTW my cell phone is 2 years old and still working .Eventhough I also like technology I never buy early releases because all have issues. I am saying this just to show you I am not an impulsive cellphone or car buyer, but I have to admit I like fancy vacation trips!

This is the successor to the n900? please give me a break. Its not a mobile computer like the n900 was. so how is it a successor? and before any of you start, Nokia said that this meego device would succeed the n900. and the n950 is the developers device for the n9, it will never be released to consumers. So in the end n900 fans wanted a more powerful, upto date n900 but they got an iphone clone. They can never win in the iphone android market. Killing the only potential market they have. Idiots

@07liberian well, first of all this device does not have a qwerty keyboard, an xterminal for editing os features and basics, it is not a mobile computer, meaning when you go online webpages will treat it like a phone, like they do with iphone and droid phones. No built in skype, google talk. By iphone clone i meant typical smartphone features you get in all iphones and androirds these days, not looks wise. I am taking about OS features not physical appearance.
