this is fantastic! I have never done socks on the knitting machine. I would like to try sometime because your video makes it easy to understand the mechanics of it better than other videos I've viewed (I would need a pattern too).

I do have a question regarding latching up the side seam.... how stretchy is it?

I wish he would have done a close up of your cast on, I realize its a latch tool cast on but I've never seen it done on top of the needles, very interesting. I also liked the way you latched up the side seam, I've never seen that done either in my 8 years of machine knitting, very cool.

@crochethabit The sock I made was 8" circumference. I previously did a tension square to determine my guage for that yarn, which was 8 stitches per inch. So I cast on 64 stitches and went from there.
