  • I can see 2 batteries soldered to the one deans plug!!! You should NEVER do this! I bet two of the wires have touched and shorted the pack causing the fire! Operator error NOT manufacturer's fault !!!!

  • can you tell us anything more about the exact details of what happen? for example- what charger are you using? model number charger? were you balance charging the LiPo? how many amps were you charging at? These are rated for 10c quick charge and as long as you balance charge them, you can charge these at up to 40amps. Only charger I know of that can do 40amps is the PowerLab 8 by CellPro- See FMA Direct. I'm glad knowone was hurt. People love these at the RC tracks- they're a great success.

  • Just had this happen to my 500 burned my canopy and part of my frame. Battery was a blue lipo 3000mah 6 cell,had about a dozen flights on it.

  • any advice form this experience
