I tried learning this, but I just couldn't stand the arpeggiated scales! god they made me mad, I just couldn't play them fluently no matter how much I practised, so I quit learning it. From then on I've respected anyone who can play it immensely!

im doing grad 6 piano this year and im doing this piece for my exam...its a great piece and very hard to learn !

im surprised, this is grade 8 on tuned percussion, and the piano sounds waaaay harder than the marimba version

There is an easier version. The original I'd say is about grade 8 or more (British gradings). I say this because I know the Maple Leaf Rag has been put in as a grade 8 piece on some boards, and I'd say the Black and White Rag in full original form is a harder piece to learn.
