this was actually one of the best songs on the album for me. that first chord change just throws you for a loop! and don't even get me started on the break that starts around 2 minutes in...

I was looking through my cassettes and behold I find this tape and it still plays. How I miss the 80's music and Mark and band are all talent . Great music.

Terrible. Worst song on the album by far. I always skip in when listening to this album. That guitar in the chorus makes me scowl it's so awful & campy. The piano solo's interesting though. Not brilliant, but interesting...
This song was clearly on the money-making/profitability side of the album, intended purely to target as many people out there as possible... Whereas songs like Does Caroline Know, Renee & Tomorrow Started were on the experimental/artistic side, and are far better quality.

The piano version on the 'A-sides, Besides' album is beautiful, I guess maybe the one you mean, weteagle0129. For a touch of bathos, I sometimes think it sounds like he sings 'Colin - the night boy!'...
