  • Since MTV essentially blacked out anything that wasn't corporate-sponsored, those of us who were disgusted by mainstream music had only small indie video outfits like Target Video to rely on to get ACTUAL footgae of the bands that were "against the grain." Now MTV2 packages it's corporate-sponsored bands as "alternative." Lucky kids (sic).
