i have tweaked the graphical layout. Going forward, I removed the wooden frame of the chalk board, since it was wasted screen space. This allowed me to center the video, and then enlarge it slightly. So i can still write around the edges on the chalk board, plus provide a bit bigger of a screen.

Ok, First off, Great Video, this is a show you should definitely put on machinima.

Now, things to improve on:

1: If you put this on Machinima, the name should change to "Weaponology" or "Weapons class" because "the Briefing room" would sound like a rip off of Seananner's "Control Room"

2: The chalk effect while cool, had be squinting at the screen to see where the next item would show up. Make it big over the video, then drop it to the sides

3: Add some real life stats of the guns you review

Excellant format and presentation Professor Swordsman. I really enjoyed this vid and look forward to more, albeit impatiently. This is my current favorite and my next to plat in my assault kit. I also have platinumed the M416 and the M16 of either would make a great choice for an upcoming episode.

i think its great, especially having the text outlining all the key stats. but what i dont like is the chalkboard around the outside. it just makes the already relatively small gameplay screen smaller. i think you could do without that and just put the stats along the bottom or top of the screen. good stuff, keep up the good work!

Nice series I have the whole assault kit with platin stars and I think I can surely say that the XM-8 is the fastest reloading weapon when you look at the grenadelauncher tool... might be some illusion but I never had the feeling to reload the launcher so fast... anyway If you get the trick you can easily take off snipers from a distance up to 400m+ .. I was practically sniping with the XM-8 and got banned.. lol.. good weapon good series keep it up - xXBl4cK4nG3lXx ;D

I agree. I didn't read from a script, but I kept screwing up that part of the commentary, so I ended up doing it over & over, but that had the result of by then, I knew exactly what I was trying to say, so it did end up feeling like that. Will work on that going forward.

Good work man! One thing, XM8 - ironsights or acog, red dot points the head red and you aint sure if you are aiming at the head actually :D Or its just my monitor lol, i never had a headshot with red dot :S

@snaky115 because you suck.. On a serious note, acog is the worst attachment you can use on any weapon especially on a SMG because it obstructs your view when you zoom in from medium to close range.. However, acog can be good on sniper rifles such as the SV98 or GOL..

Can you make a video about the boundaries in rush mode and how they should be extended? I have noticed they have made a couple of changes since the game came out but the maps are too small. I think if they did this then people would stop being so cheap with the c4, at mines, motar, uav, helicopter, atv etc.

This was a good style, definitely love the key stats on the chalkboard frame. The only thing I can see bad about this is that you can only make so many classroom jokes before it gets old. And you used the word 'competitive' a lot in a short period, but you seemed to realize it in the video.

I would suggest lowering the sound of the chalk noises when commenting on the weapons. It actually drowned out your voice when you were talking which took away from the impact of the notes behind the weapon. If anything the sound of chalk should be only loud enough for the ears to recognize the information is being put on the board while your voice is the focus of the show.

I have to agree with the iron sights comment. The XM8P and XM8 LMG have some of the best iron sights in the game.

Often, I find myself using the iron sights on most weapons because spotting. If I can see a triangle over someone's head, I know where he is, whether I'm ADS or not. Often at longer range, I spot, ADS, fire. This means that however bad the iron sights are, I can hit my targets. For shorter range, the quality of the iron sights are much more important, as there is usually no spot

I liked how you noted the key points of what you were saying in the framing of the video (weapon damage, etc.) I think you should definitely continue with this if you are willing to spend the extra time to make these videos. I like all of the BFBC2 video that you put out. I don't actually own the game myself, but have always thought about getting it.
