  • I love this cookbook! Real recipes that are easy to make and my family wants to eat. Video isn't too shabby either...lololol...very good quality all round.

  • I really like the video. I was talking to my husband about getting the video and he wants to know if I'm trying to make him fat. lol. I can't help it. I miss good ol' country cooking now I've moved. Can't wait to try out some of the recipes.

  • Got the book, I can hardly wait to try some of the recipes today! They all sound delicious and easy enough that even I can make them! Thank you and awesome video!

  • Nice video. I love this cookbook, has some great recipes. Thank you Mrs. Betty :)

  • Thank you everyone for your comments about the cookbook! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and tell me your thoughts! Thanks again!

  • I love Back to the Table with My Country Kitchen, I live with 5 finicky men (2 teenagers, 2 adults and a 10 yr old) who no matter what I make in the kitchen they are not happy...using Betty's book has been wonders! No more thinking what am I going to cook tonight!

  • @rebbekahwhite Thank you so much Rebbekah!! I so appreciate your review!

  • Just gave copies to my daughters for Christmas...can't wait to go over for dinner!

  • @JaneCarrollandBertha Thank you Jane! Let me know what they think.

  • I looked this cookbook up on LuLu and notice it is printed on high quality laminated type paper. That is a real plus for me because I am always spilling things and I will be able to wipe the pages clean after I am done. I think all cookbooks should use this type of paper.

  • I have been a person with the frustration this video talks about. It seems it’s harder to get a family together these days. I am looking forward to using the recipes in this cookbook to entice my family to eat at home.

  • I own the cookbook and my favorite part is the story of its creation between the author who knows how to cook and the editor who doesn’t know the first thing about cooking. It’s really funny. Even if you don’t get it for the recipes, the story itself is worth buying it.

  • awe...I love the baby birds:)

  • I have had the opportunity to eat some yummy meals made from this book...yum...yum!

  • Actually moles7394 if cooked with the proper recipe I am sure they taste good. I found them at the store the other day and figured I may as well give them a try. You should try them before you criticize them.

  • IN fact I am sure it does.

  • Tripe? people seriously still eat that stuff? I am willing to bet that this cookbook has better recipes than TRIPE!

  • The birds rock! I love cooking and found this while looking for a recipe for pickled tripe. I am now planning on giving it a try.

  • @jenny2mutch Tripe? Really? If this was a cookbook for tripe it would be titled Back to Fishing with My Country Kitchen.

  • @JackandJill3800 Hey, that’s a great idea for a cookbook. We do a lot of fishing in my family
