@martindanny to an extent I agree with you however we have a nasty ring of foreigners being shipped over for cheap labor driving gravel trucks and they do not know how to even drive in reverse they have to have a run about to unload their trucks for them. They pass tests with an interpreter asking them the questions and giving the answer in their own language so they pass the written exam. Then the company hands over a drivers license. Quite common in Alberta thanks immigrations..

@34775101 Most of the time there is a mechanical failure behind it. Our truckers do the 4k miles journey from pacific ocean to the antlantic ocean every week. Sometime a tie-rod snaps in the snow or the tire blows or the air line freezes. They are not going 10 mph on a snake like road. Think about that before talking shit. @martindanny to an extent I agree with you however we have a nasty ring of foreigners being shipped over for cheap labor driving gravel trucks and they do not know how to even drive in reverse they have to have a run about to unload their trucks for them. They pass tests with an interpreter asking them the questions and giving the answer in their own language so they pass the written exam. Then the company hands over a drivers license. Quite common in Alberta thanks immigrations..
