Barr is for limited govt. and has stated in quite detail which departments he would scrap. How on earth can one call Barr a big govt. conservative? It is just ridiculous! I suppose for anarchists a limited govt. may still seem like big govt... but anarchists are in the minority in the LP.

Toby, don't you know that when we have the right laws in place, we will all be wealthy, happy, and live forever. All violence will end, there will be no more harsh weather or accidents or illness... Good enough government will give us Utopia! The whole world will be Hawaii... or at least what those of us who have never been to Hawaii dream it to be. And the sawdust will be magically whisked away by the government laws, just like everything else that might annoy us.
