You can use ChickHenR2 w/ CFW Enabler 3.60 on the PSP-3000. Just bought my PSP Rock Band pack a couple hours ago and hacked it. Just have to make sure you only update to OFW 5.03, mine came with 5.02. *whew*

I'm using Chickhen R2 and CFWEnabler version 3.60 on my PSP. I can play homebrew games like QUAKE, and even an ISO of Metal Gear Solid. I've also been playing on a SNES emulator, but I cannot get PSP ISO/CSO games to work! They always show up as corrupted data if I put them in the game folder, and don't show up at all I put them in an ISO Folder on the root menu of the mem stick. Any ideas how I can make it work? Or will certain psp games simply never work?

hmm are you placing the PSP games in the root of the memory stick in a folder called ISO?

PS1 games go in example G:/PSP/GAME

PSP games go in G:/ISO

if they dont run still try to change the driver in the VSH menu which can be accessed via pushing select while in the XMB

Sorry ive not replied to anyone on here, been real busy.. but as jolly roger said 3.01 works on 3000 and CFWenabler is now revision 3.50 so im sure by now its probs supports iso's on 3000, if in doubt visit PSPQJ for all your psp needs.

No, CFW Enable doesnt touch the flash, so don´t worry :)

It does? I thought it does not flash, because after you turned the ds completly off, the PSP is in Normal FW again

Yes it writes the files to the flash, then when the PSP is reset and and chick hen is ran etc it allows the CFWen to boot faster.

not to sure as with all apps that flash your psp there is a risk but tbh id say CFWenabler is the best and works 99.9% id say the risk is pretty low.

I can run chickHen r2 on my TA-090v2 psp 3000 do you think that cfw enabler 3.01 work on my psp. I am afraid to try just incase it knackers up my psp.

have you ran ChickHen then booted CFWEnabler? that could be your problem, if you have then umm you could try the latest version of CFWenabler which is 2.50 check pspqj for the DL

Yes, you need the Official Sony 5.03 firmware. Search it in google, download it, and install it into your PSP. After that, proceed installing ChickHenR2 (make sure it's R2). And THEN you can use CFWenabler.

All that is for the PSPSlim!

BTW, if you plan to stay in the homebrew biz never EVER update via Sony's official network service. The same goes for other consoles' homebrews such as the Wii.
