  • some sweet info here

  • im using this for my science power point. :D

  • The Planet is precious, and we abuse it.

    The sad truth.

  • This Vocabulary word will help me on my final :)

  • Why doesn't my renewable energy vids NOT get seen... Oh, My music isn't as good as Celine... But check out...

    three futures

  • yeah babe!

    Hell yh to renewable energy

  • awesome vid... SAVE EARTH

  • renewable energy you say? I'm a big FAN :D

  • 20 oil industry lobbyists watched this video

  • Go Renewable! Save Planet Earth!

  • we really need all these to reduce carbon footprints and even offset it...it is all about choosing options that will preserve nature and help people

  • I agree with most of these yet they need to be used in good ways with respect to local tribes and peoples. With regards to this Dams need to be more thoughtfully built with regareds to amazonians and also with regards to the species that live in such rivers. By friend is working on such a dam and a preposed dam is predicted to make at least 20 species go extinct and is expected to threatern the language and life style of the native tribes (which are spoken only by them)

  • FACT Solar Power has DOUBLED its working force from 2009 - 2010

Solar energy is just one of others that have been growing.

Renewable energies give us a ladder to free us from fossil fuels, which will eventually run out, not only that they are very polluting.

Unfortunately many Americans don't realize the benefit and urgancy for renewables.

  • i think it's really important that solar panels should be made more available- if you agree, please sign this e-petition. Or not, it's your life.

  • great thanks

  • perfect

  • everyone buy my 100% green asteroid deflection magnet that will strengthen the earths magnetic field to push them away! we must unite and be custodians of the earth to prevent great calamities!

  • I like the content, but the music is totally AWFUL. =)

  • ok easylivinguide.co.cc

  • ok

  • @Llortsaccount on your youtube page you said you liked the music and hated re-newable energy...fucking fail you redneck ass-whipe

  • what a crock, the energy industry is worth trillions, the australian governemnt admts this week that a large carbon tax on coal would destroy the industry, to remove all the coal oil and gas would destroy the economies, and this why untaxable energy has been kept quiet until now.

click on my name there is only one video full specs of a test unit anyone can build and video of it working

  • @Llortsaccount there is nothing on youtube showing that it is only for Americans.

  • @Llortsaccount " Bio-engineered meat safely".....in japan they have made "meat" from shit, so enjoy.

" so we don't have to kill anything with a sole".........welll since souls don't exist that moral conundrum is moot.

  • @Llortsaccount Im not American, so yeahh...

  • @actordude07 Don't even bother talking to him... we're still trying to figure out if he's mentally stable.

  • @TheOriginalZombieDoG lol did you know he supports the KKK? im preatty sure hes mentaly retarded or just an ignorent asshole, either way he doesnt deserve a youtube account

  • @Llortsaccount Uhh, you just told me you liked and favourited the video because you liked the music.

You also said anyone who supports renewable energy is not a true Conservative Christian.

    Now you're saying the opposite.

You never fail to make me laugh.

  • I like it. It makes me feel good every time i watch your video. We all need more positive energy like this. We have more alternatives than we know what we do with. There is no reason for an energy crisis and an economic jobless crisis. I am alive. Let's consider other options as well.

  • Why breath death animals and plants(fossil fuels) when we can just have clean Energy almost free. Start thinking In other clean energy sources young engineers. Cause the old engineers are already lost.

  • Get your Solar Panel Design by "Design My Solar"

  • Wouldn't it be beautiful to stand out in the horizon as the sun sets.

  • 16 people arent green.

  • Its what we miss all the time, that this energy is for us all and freely :) wish we could make better use of it

  • "green energy" as many would call it is almost always extremely inefficient and and not very practical, and never reliable. wind energy is can only be harnessed during certain times of the day, usually times when demand is at its lowest, since theres wind, and the windmills are extremely expensive to build. solar energy is probably the best, but again, still very expensive and for the most part very unreliable.

  • I want to add this to my website. Are you cool w/that? Thanks

  • Geothermal the best one.

  • I think Solar power is the way to go, harnessing the power of a star is the best way to save our planet and keep our homes and citys functional and these solar plants can be backed up with wind farms. People take for granted how much power comes from the sun, nearly all the energy on Earth is from the sun. Stop burning coal, we don't need it.

  • John R. Christy has been accused of recanting his position that climate change is neither Anthropogenic nor Catastrophic, but he didn’t. He used two independent data sets, weather balloon and satellite. (see links in my about me) Later he only stated that there was some anthropogenic impact that could not be predicted 100 years out, but that what we’re doing was good for the plants.

  • 2/2 Obama's Former Green Jobs Czar and Communist, Van Jones

  • 1 /2 Obama stop offshore drilling until it was reinstated. This could cause a $5 a gallon increase, because we would grow dependent upon foreign nations we are not allies with in order to provide our oil. Cap and Trade (American Power Act) would increase gas prices increase by $2.58 a gallon according to George C. Marshall Institute& taxes on the average household up to $3200 according to the RNC Foreign countries price gouge w/ gas prices to $10/gal!.

  • really good video!!! Go green and Go renewable energy!!

  • Hope you got the GSCE you deserve after this.

My son is in year 9 now and I I will be showing him this for inspiration

  • With rise in the global warming due to emission of green house gases, the renewable energy sector is gaining importance as it is a better than fossil fuel. It is a sustainable source of energy and will never run out. Any of the renewable energy sources, sunlight, wind, water, biomass; they generate zero harmful emissions or pollutants into the environment. For more information, visit the Pacific Crest Transformers website...

  • Too bad it will not happen anytime in the short term. I can see your list account for maybe 10-15 percent in the next 20-25 years but Coal is here to stay. Coal has gotten significantly cleaner then the tech from 50 years ago and it does a great job as a base station. Oil/Natural Gas are your peak stations. Wind is too unreliable to be a base load station and Hydroelectric only works in certain places.

    We must switch to renewables?

Wow I wish saving the world could be summed in one cliche line

  • Recently I took part in a counselling programme for senior management at a UK energy supplier.

Many participants talked about the ‘shame’ they felt for overcharging vulnerable members of the public and deliberately cutting service to enhance profit margins. We were instructed to offer them solace, assuring them they were serving the community as good citizens & go on about they were helping to combat climate change.

When I refused to toe the line & offered criticism, I was forced out.

  • i think the only way people are truly going to go green is if every state adopted the same thing that is being done in California. if every home in america was required by law to separate renuables and none reuables ressorses, and to stop using plastic bags and start using green bags. pretty much anything big or small will make a big difference.

  • wind turbines kill over 300000 birds a year in the US alone which is messing up there migration paterns and the eco system. solar is so expensive it is not economical. Nuclear power produces 0 carbon= the answer

  • @1sackofshit1 AGREED! I live next to the world largest windfarm (alamont pass) And even on a peak windy day all those acres of land used for windfarms only produce a measly 500MW, While some nuclear power plants can easily produce 1500MW NON stop 24/7.

  • I'm in Environmental Studies in University! Full support here :)

  • Great video! Solar & Wind Power will become a great energy resource in the future! Here in Hawaii - we have lots of sun and many people are choosing wind turbines, and solar panels as a great alternative to oil, coal and natural gas! Clean energy is the future of the world! See pristinesun . com/what-we-do.html for information on how to save 20% on your electrical bill every month & get solar panels installed for free for your business or non-profit co. in any state in US! Aloha & Mahalo!

  • Arresting visuals and statistics that compel us to think, or probably re-think. It is time we adopted greener technologies.

  • It is not renewable energy, it is natural energy. You can't renew it yourself.

  • @heartlessvietboy Actually renewable energy is energy that can be replenished at the same rate as it is used

  • We can utilize renewable energy to make hydrogen fuel in international water. The energy to make the hydrogen is free the cost is in building and maintaining the infrastructure. North America and our trade partners are building cars that run on hydrogen so one would think hydrogen fuel will be in demand. North America understands and supports innovation

    E-T

  • FUCKING AWSOME VIDEO!!! Fucking awsome... :)

  • STOP BEING RETARDED!!! STEAM ENGINES POWERED BY MAGNIFIED SUNLIGHT!!! FRESNEL LENS + SUN + STEAM ENGINE = UNSTOPPABLE... Unless there is heavy cloud cover... or it is night time... BESIDE THE POINT! UNSTOPPABLE!!!

  • I'm in favor of clean energy. Who wouldn't be? But sacrificing our wetlands, allowing our animals to die, polluting our seas while he sits back and does nothing is not the way for President Transparency to PUSH HIS CLEAN ENERGY AGENDA on everybody! The Feds are killing Alabama, Louisiana, Florida and Mississippi! It's called cutting off the hands of the states that FEED EVERYBODY UNTIL YOU CAN ACHIEVE YOUR "POLITICAL AGENDA" OF CLEAN ENERGY! I no longer trust this presidency!!

  • love it!

  • Totally Awesome video and work. I'm def. sharing everywhere.

    Thanks

  • very good, showed it to my class

  • awesome video I got to play it im my geography lesson! Very cool and interesting! XD

  • we need renewable energy, but we dont need shitty songs.

  • interesting idea for you (pongamia as a biofuel): watch?v=rPBWkeqx9UI

  • Very nice video. Great Job.Explains a lot.

    Please subscribe.

    -GreenEnergyAble

  • u play shitty music.

  • Yes, wouldn't it be nice? I don't know about the UK, but in the US, those most in opposition to renewable energy are...

    The Environmentalists.

The oppose hydropower because they want to restore land now covered by reservoirs; they oppose solar because of tortoise migration and "light pollution"; they oppose wind because of migratory birds being hit by turbine blades; they oppose geothermal because of suspected seismic impact.

You can't win. Their solution: human extinction.

  • AWW i have to do a presentatiwiv this in skewl in frnt ov class in science borinn

  • fucking hate metalheads

  • It is hoped that renewable energy like wind and solar will gradually replace fossil fuel. Pacific Crest Transformers has more information on this. You can also read whitepapers and articles on alternate energy at the Pacific Crest Transformers website.

  • Hippie fag nigger dick bitch!!! Im all for cleaner shit, but i dont lie awake in bed and cut myself and jerk off with my own tears because i burn gas and coal.

  • Actually I have some doubt about tidal energy as truely renewable - it is the kinetic energy of the moon that brings about the tides.

  • great video

  • HI, I am a teacher who would like to use this video to show my students. However there is one slide at the end that says, "Im with stupid". Is there any way you could send me another version of this without that last slide? I really would like to use it, its great. I know its a lot to ask, but I would greatly appreciate it :)

  • Coming from a person who's only video is of them and some other dude miming to a bad viral song that everyones forgotten about :D

  • consider the use of magnets as a supportive power source. Magnets strategically located around a drive line could reduce the need for fuel and help speed reduction by revering polarity.

  • We need more of this.

  • Escapehatchery you really need to get over yourself. They said man would never fly and guess what? we did.

  • ...too late =P

its already happened u old narrow-minded narcistic obtuse moron

  • Your optimism is impressive. This world needs people like you in order to solve our clean energy problems. One thing that you should look into while you are at school is not just the appearance of clean energy but the process involved in making it. The amount of raw materials and metals that goes into these options makes them allot dirtier then you would suspect. Google Copper Mining Images and think about adding 150 more of those in the US. The solution is not a simple as it may seem.

  • This is why i'm aimming for a diploma in Green energy engineering.

  • RENEWABLES IS THE WAY TO SAVE EARTH!

    we must switch to renewables.

  • @curingaging00 I cant seem to fully agree with "Renewable." When Hydroelectric dams r ruining the eco-system forever. It took thousands

(perhaps millions) of years to be how it was. River surface water is drinkable if there arent any pollutants along any river. If there is a mill or something thats pollutant, that would cause it not to be drinkable. many rivers have been damed when they could've been kept the way they were, for the sake of our future and children, grandchildern etc

  • @curingaging00 You can switch today if you're in CT, MA, MD, NY, NJ, PA, or IL follow @fundgreenpower on twitter to find out how you can switch, or how to make a career by educating others about green energy.

  • "For a greener future, renewable is the answer"

    Well done, actordude07

  • Thx for the green vid

  • What did we do to deserve Sealion Dying music?

  • Good Video. We as Americans are ignorant our pollitions are corrupt with their own personal agendas I agree with what other people say every other country that is holding out will follow our lead if we make the move to go not just 10% but 100% renewable energy within the 10-15 years left before the point of no return

  • What are you smoking and where do I get some>??

  • Congratulations on your video, I will be using this as an engagement activity with my students who are learning about renewable energy sources. We are lucky here in Aust. as govn rebate offers give schools & individuals access to grants to install solar panels. We just need to raise the awareness that our renewable resources are just that, they will not run out. Whereas non renewable sources will run out, but question remains, when?

  • You mean you will use this to brainwash your charges with greenwash without examining the broader fiscal and technical issues that render most renewables worthless.

  • Gay video, but good at getting the point across

  • Trees are renewable why don't we start burning wood.

  • stupid comment

  • no it isnt

  • If I would be Bill Gates I would sell Microsoft and build green resources for the whole earth!

  • what has Microsoft to so with polution ? it's the oil and Coal compainies to blame for the polution :P

  • he means use the trillions of dollars he would get from selling the company and use it to make green resources.

  • we all know u wouldn't do that -.-

  • Good one Liam :)

Haha, people are watching this in Ohio!

  • I watched this is computer class this is interesting xDD 2 boys in my class at the beginning at the beat . their bopping their heads at the same time O_o

  • your watching this in school? sweet lol, were you from?

  • Ohio LOL Well in computer we do certain things everyday. like today we watch video of the week or something like that.. LOL And my teacher just chose this i guess O_o

  • Same thing with 3 or 4 guys in my class, only it was in Science

    instead of computer class

  • I cannot believe how much our leadership has called for renewable energy and yet we see little progress along this industry. I am a machinist from West Texas and have yet to see a demand for work such as components in this industry? Pres. Obama is a liar.

  • now this is cool.

    stay green forever.

  • Thank you very much --- Your youtube is very informative. Please visit my blog of "Clean Energy"

  • Hope u dont mind i use some of the pics for my own project=D

  • your a perfect person

  • renewable energy solutions watch my profile for more

  • the economy is so horable and the environment is gone to pot but you have time to watch Renewable Energy. well if you care about the environment and want to help then see my two videos and go see my site. toledogogreen com if not well i tried.

  • awesome!

  • And you have the nerve to try to convince the world, including this hard-working, unlucky, impoverished wretch, that it is wrong for him or her to have the luxury of a gas-burning stove. How heroic you must feel.

  • With all due respect, you are wrong and most of what you posted is off subject. Im not saying we should deny the people in Africa a gas-burning stove, not at all. They produce hardly any CO2, so the video is mainly for the people who want to change their lifestyle, and live in 1st and 2nd world countries.

global warming now isn't caused by the sun, since the industrial revolution, it's been rising and rising.

So don't play the 'poor people in Africa card'. :P

  • If you do your research, after WWII, when carbon emissions greatly increased, the global temp began to decrease significantly until the eighties. So there really isn't sufficient evidence to prove that humans induced global warming for the twentieth century. As for the beginning of the industrial revolution, that began around the same time as the little ice age, so it's the same situation. The temperature rises and falls. The world keeps spinning.

  • @actordude07 "global warming now isn't caused by the sun, since the industrial revolution, it's been rising and rising." Actualyl during the peak of the industrial revolution, they found a staggering drop in temperature.

  • I agree with you. I think Co2 is the biggest con the whole world faces.

  • So then you better stop breathing. OH MY GOD! ATTACK OF NATURAL GASSES

  • what is your point?

you are arguing a stuipd, devoid of intelligent point here what are YOU doing?

everyone just points fingers at those doing something, when they themselves do nothing.

what are you doing to help those 'wretches'?

i dont care what you have to say.

lets make the technology, once its here and available, it will slowly reach everyone if we're smart and adopt it..

    now the funny part

    ITS ALREADY HERE!

technology is a COMMODITY, that you should treat as one..

    thats what they say...

  • If you've done your research, you would know that essentially all types of renewable energy are, as of now, extremely inefficient and/or extremely expensive. It's kind of tough to expect an entire free market society to adopt even more expensive, less efficient, and less available energy. Where's the incentive? Don't get your hopes up.

  • The shirt you're wearing, which you probably purchased at an affordable price in a convenient, local department store, was probably produced by an impoverished mother of five or seven-year-old child for thirty cents an hour; that same producer of your shirt goes home to a cold, one-room shack in which he or she must work another hour to heat up the wood-burning stove before he or she can be as comfortable as possible in a room stuffed with smoke.

  • Stop wasting your time. Global warming is just part of a cycle caused not by our CO2 emissions, but by the sun. Stop giving yourself so much credit. All you're doing is putting pressure on less fortunate countries, keeping them from using their own resources.

  • thanks for makin the video it really got to im gonna force ma mum 2 use solar pannels

  • I'm not necessarily a proponent of totally ditching oil yet. But I hope someday we do.Then our dependence on foreign oil will be eliminate and we can NUKE the whole damn middle east and the terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 !

  • Nuke them all? Why would you want to do that? It was only a few extremest scumbags who attacked America in 9/11, not all of the middle east. I think we need to evolve, get rid of religion cos its a decease on humanity and start taking more responsibility to this planet and everything living on it

  • Well, I certainly agree with the get rid of religion part as it has historically caused much grief to the world

  • And that nonreligious China sure is a utopia

  • AWESOME VID MAN!!!......Renewable power FTW....this is the future so all those retards that are getting rich killing the earth better watch out cos this is gonna own!!!

  • when the oils all gone this'll happen.might be too late by then though

  • You guys need to also consider gasification as an alternative energy source. It's crazy that the media hasn't caught onto this. Check out "wood gasification: alternative energy source" on youtube for videos on it. There is one dude who shows you how to build one out of recycled parts. Makes energy / electricity out of bio trash!

  • I watched that video, and here are a few things i picked up on.

Its unsightly. We don't know efficient it is. You could be hopeless if you find construction hard.

I can see why the media hasn't picked up on it, but Im sure either someone will tell them, or they'll find out for themselves if they want to.

  • hi this is a cool movie and i like the picture that the world says I'm with stupid and the arrow is pointing at the little guy

  • Great! My Best Respect! I am myselft for renewable enery promotion!!!

  • bless you all for caring. let us all do our bit to save the world and its future generations. g-d bless you all.

    shalom

  • Nice Song and Statistics.

  • Cool video. =]

Thank you for putting it up. =D

  • adammXD he did make that video. so get your head out of your arse and go pick on someone else.

  • Yeah, doubt you made that (: your uncapable

  • why,? surprised i can make that!

    well fucking dont be!

  • The wind industry is now able to replace about 30 20-year old turbines with a single 2MW turbine. Who says that improvements in the technology will stop? Wind technology has by no means matured.

Do you know that wind in Washington is now competitive with hydro?

  • When you compare nukes with wind, you are solving the problem in two different ways. Nukes are centralized but not self contained. Wind is distributed but self contained. Wind does not need to mine, mill, convert, enrich, convert, fabricate, transport, burn, dispose. All that takes energy and space. And, they are CO2 intensive processes.

  • Wind turbines are around 20 KW (not MW). So you need around 80,000 of those things to produce same amount of energy as let's say single nuclear reactor.

  • Actually i am right. It is MW not KW, well maybe very wee ones produce power which should be measured in KW.

  • Yup. A Vestas V80 turbine for example is rated at 1.8 MW.

  • So anyone saw 20MW wind turbines? No?! That's my point - there's no such thing.

  • See the things is, im not really bovvered!

  • Here in Washington, we have two wind projects - Hopkins Ridge and Wild Horse. Hopkins Ridge has 83 Vestas V80 turbines rated at 1.8 megawatts (MW). Wild Horse has 127 Vestas V80 turbines. The capacity factor has been around 0.39. Assuming your nuclear reactor has a capacity factor of .90 and is rated at 1GWe. How many V80s would I need? Do the math.
