Instead, the Quran is just talking about the earth (as a flat disc) and the 7 heavens over it and how they where ones one. Many ancient religions have something similar to this cosmic model.

Or you could search for Zakir Naik proving the existance of God. Those two have great points, Hamza using logic and common sense, Zakir using the Quran. Maybe they will give your friend the last push necessary

Also, it is a scientific fact that we evolved from a different species of hominid homo ergaster, and that DNA, and fossil records support this. Mohammed simply came into contact with these people and asked them, that's more likely then that an angel told him ;-) Many men must have known about this in Mecca and Medina for example.

@mss3331 That verse is not talking about the big bang. The skies and the earth was formed long after the big bang, so it makes no sense. Instead, the Quran is just talking about the earth (as a flat disc) and the 7 heavens over it and how they where ones one. Many ancient religions have something similar to this cosmic model.

13:2, or 36:40 for example shows that the sun clearly orbits the earth, according to the Quran.

Mr. stephen king you just said Universe is expanding... In qurana it is mention about 1400 years ago. U also said GOD does not exist? It is so funny! You have spent a lot of time learning about Universe, now I will urge you to read the Quran and analyze it

Newton and Einstein also converted into Islam before they developed Theory of Gravitation and Relativity. Before conversion, they used to talk garbage like Stephen hawkings does in this video

I am a Muslim, and as much as I would wish for them to be Muslim, I choose to be sceptic. I have never heard of that before, and I guess it would have been well-known if it were true

Hard? Closer to impossible, brother. When they say that they are atheist, they are saying that they believe there is no god. They have nothing to base it on - they simply say no. If they were agnostics, it would have been possible, because the agnostics are actually going to believe if they are given evidence. But those who call themselves atheist? They are hard.

@icedudefromZetaR yeah .. but no matter how stubborn i think most of them believe in some sort of higher power.. my friend recently admitted that to.. despite not saying so before.. he just thinks the whole concept of religion is man made and just seems ridiculous to him. there are times where i'll tell him something and he'll kind off be suprised but then he'll always have a counter argument.. truth is i dont know enough myself to know how to really convince him. but i dont think its impossible

I agree, brother. About convincing your friend: You should check out this guy on Youtube. His name is Hamza Tzortzis, and he debates Humanitarians and atheists, and he has some pretty strong agruments that could help you with your friend. Or you could search for Zakir Naik proving the existance of God. Those two have great points, Hamza using logic and common sense, Zakir using the Quran. Maybe they will give your friend the last push necessary

@icedudefromZetaR Brother.. there are a few things that i dont really know the answer fo myself..but i dont know who to ask.. Like Why did Prophet Muhammed(P.b.u.h) marry that young girl?Why are women not allowed to have 3 husbands yet we are allowed 3 wives.Why do me bu islamic rule inherit more of there parents money then women.. How do we have free will if everything is written for us?If Allah is all knowing how come he asked prophet musa to sacrifice his son if he knew that he would say yes.
