Yeah it is frustrating espesially when its ur wrist u write with i have a broken wrist and i cant do anything i wash my hair in the sink and if u wanna take showers u put a glove on and tape it around and keep it above ur head❤😜😄😊✌📝🎨🛀🚽🏈🏀⚽⚾🎾🏄🏊👕🍴🚲things its hard to do:)
Interesting! I never knew how they put casts on! Thankfully, I've never broken a bone. Megan's reaction to not being able to swim reminds me of my aunt's reaction last summer when my then one-year-old cousin broke his wrist. She was so dissapointed that she couldn't take him swimming for the rest of the summer.
Know what you mean. I have scoliosis and as a child had to be put in plaster cast molds several times. One time the saw cut too far and made a tiny scratch on my chest, so the next few times I got a little bit scared, but the casting guy explained that's why they used cotton padding at the top as a fail safe.
Another time the casting guy just put the saw on the ground and I accidentally kicked it on and that caused me to yelp.
@lawknoxville Were you talking about Megan looking angry? If so, maybe the reason she was angry was because, she wanted to go swimming very much and she probably wasn't happy to not go swimming for six weeks where at the end once the cast was removed she asked the doctor if she can go swimming now. (At 3:08, her smile was like she was saying "maybe I can go swimming now").
Yes maybe that's true. But people do get angry when sick or hurt or have an operation. When I first had my tonsils out my throat was so sore for weeks that it made me really furiours in that time.
@moatguy I agree that people can get angry about those reasons. I even remember someone who was sick and wasn't able to come to a birthday party and when someone came to her to tell her what all happened at the party while she was still sick, she got angry about that since she wanted to come to the party but her sickness didn't let her. Also, sorry that you were feeling sore after getting your tonsils removed. I hope you felt better soon.
1:27 - That's a complete transverse fracture with 100% displacement. Somehow, I don't think the girl in the rest of the movie actually had this one...
Oh wow how i remember this scene! I've searched feverishly fore this particular video in the past with no success! But, a-ha how i found this part at last! Yay! :)
I remember an episode from c.1978 when Mr. Hooper slipped and fell on a little oil slick in front of his store. Fortunately, it was only a sprain. They also showed this film shortly after. Later, as Mr. Hooper leaves the hospital, they meet a girl who fell off her bike. Was that possibly Megan from this very film?
in the sesame street and mr rogers film segments i watched as growing up as a kid in the 80's they knew where not to cross the line on certain issues

@Anousenka Answer: You would wrap the cast in a plastic bag while you were taking a shower.
