Fearless Leader has been my favorite band since the mid 80's While the hairdo bands were playing pay to play shows at the Roxy FL were living the life of action on the East side of Hollywood kickin ass & blowing shit up at Raji's Al's bar the Anti club. FL has played with everybody from the Flaming Lips to the Goo Goo Dolls when nobody had even heard of them .Best show for me was the Metal hut in Van Nuys. Sarge got real drunk got tasered beat up a bouncer and danced naked all over our tables!
WOW that is great. It's great to see Fearless Leader again. Some idiot booked them once to play a Caholic school carnival. It ended with Sarge the singer punching out a priest and 2 gym teachers. Their shows usually ended with most of the band naked and bloody. Their very first show was shut down by the Fire Marshall and the drummer Brick Wahl was jailed and sodomized for 2 weeks! Another memorable show was when they got thrown off the stage but refused to leave until they got paid. They Did!

This is the best band in Los Angeles! I have been luck enough to see Fearless Leader a few times and these guys are the kings of Rock & Roll. What more could you ask for Great music, a great stage show and FIRE. I've seen shows when these guys sounded like a mix between the Stooges NY Dolls and Kiss and also seen shows that melted down and turned into the Germs with the guitarist quiting the band numerous times that show! There are far too many pretenders out there. This is the Real Deal!
