we were wondering if youu might be able to check out some of our videos. We likee when people give us constructive criticism andd what better person to get it from thenn someone who has been so successful on YT?
Thank you for posting these videos. Im presently creating videos about meditation, self realization, developing peace and many dealing with religious and philosophical questions Ive found on you tube. As a Holistic Practitioner and teacher of meditation, I am excited about the prospect of sharing what I've experienced on Youtube. Your information was greatly appreciated and it sounds like we are working in the same area - exciting. I look forward to sharing some interesting discussions with you.
Wow, thank you so much for these tutorials! I've only been on here for 3 months, and after watching these I'm surprised I even have as many subscribers as I have! ;) I'm gonna start to use some of these tips for sure. Thank you again for taking out the time to do this!
If I want to make a video monochromatic, make everything blue, for example, how do I do that with Windows Movie Maker?
How do I avoid showing my face (because I plan on dealing with oontrovercial subjects like cults) but still show there is a human in from on the camera?
Thank you. I'll look up free plug ins and ask around. As for not showing my face, I was looking for more creative ways than just to blur, but blurring it would work fine for vlog entries or video responses. Thanks for your input.
Thanks a lot John!! This is good stuff (since I'm sort of a noob :P). As I'm a little stuborn I am not willing to do a script, but I did change my lighting, made my intro copyright-free and found some cool add-ons for my moviemaker.
As usual, very informative, Jon! I learned that voiceover trick from your comment-reply in one of your previous vids. Also, as I'm using a digital camera, not a movie camera, I use Movie Maker to punch up/increase my audio just a bit. Good work!
Good video. My biggest problem in the world is lighting. My house is dark by nature. I did buy a special high power lamp but sometimes it is a pain to hook up. Good video.
That's why recommend using a bright adjustable desktop that can shine in your face while filming. This way it can simply be used as a computer desk lamp when not filming.
My first webcam was truly dreadful. Despite good lighting and a various tweaks - it never wanted to record anythong above 20 frames, sometimes dropping to below 15.
that series of videos is really helpfull. it's more of a general tutorial for making better videos and actually "being" on youtube, than just gain subscribers. that's really cool. thank you so much for providing the links, especially about the splitscreen. i googled a lot but didn't find anything until now. so thanks to you and laurbubble^^
Sorry I missed the rest of your series. I've been in the hospital. I'll make sure to go back and get caught up. I'm relly glad you showed us how to get to the spilt screen. I've always wondered how to do that.
Thank you. I didn't even realize I had movie maker! I eventually figured out the youtube editor, then when I clicked "publish" it failed--some compatibility problem--I used only vids already on my channel and added only features that they supplied. Go figure. Thank you for offering the help you do, it seems to be the best way to learn youtube.
This vid sucks balls! You mustache pedophile! HOE! ;D love ya'll! ;D

on your channel we noticed your video starts automatically. how do youu do that?
CMKfilmss 3 years ago
Thanks. All YT videos start automatically I thought. Maybe it's in your settings. I dunno.
Castaa 3 years ago

CMKfilmss 3 years ago
That probably because you have "high quality" video turn on. YT has problems with high some quality videos.

I don't know of a way to tint a grayscale or monochromatic video using windows movie maker. There might be a user created plug-in that does the trick.
Well you can simply blur the video image using the video effects option. The more blur added the more blurrier the result.
