@Rholehouse323 I like to think of the two as being, Tangible (intel analyst) and Intangible (Signals analyst) there both the same and yet different. both deal with the same sort of information but in different forms, a signals analyst is more likely to deal with a phone call and an intel analyst is more likely to deal with an email... if that's an accurate example
Best way to find out is by contacting a recruiter. Depending on what the surgury was, You might need a waiver. DONT HIDE IT!!! Trust me MEPS WILL find out, one way or the other
@Centurion101st Speaking as a 35F im telling you right now if a person scores high enough to qualify for a TSC and 35F they will almost always tell you no jobs are open except 35 series. As far as anyone being james bond 35F lmao yeah go to ft huachuca and see how many 35F companies there are. 2 and they have around 300 every 4 months very high fail rate and our rejects get t-speced to 11B, 21B and 88M. All respectable jobs just nothing like intel. The silent warriors always at war.
@TcToshi what is a good enough score for 35F. I scored an 81 on the ASVAB and 120 overall. I am in the process of going through interview for security clearance. Just wanted to know if these were good enough scores. Also, how does the security work. Is it just the one Top Secret clearance, and would I get that going in as a PFC, or is there a lower level clearance. Just not entirely sure how it works yet.
@nonexis1 im pretty sure we are told different things but i was told its all about your gt score and overall. GT over 120 is good well great and if they are doing your interview your in as long as you get through that. as far as clearance goes you will get a TSC going in as a PFC BUT it just takes a while sometimes to finish the investigations. The only thing you worry about right now is making sure you dont lie about anything and you dont get in trouble. oh and make it through AIt.
@TcToshi Thanks man. Really appreciate the confirmation on this. Let me ask you something reagrding medical. I had a couple of minor, really minor, surgeries almost 10-15 years ago. To be honest, it was more cosmetic than anything. Do you think I will need waivers for them? Should I bother getting medical records for them because I do not think I would even be able to.
ok wtf is up with these bots under me
