@FIeaExSportS If your licensed like the people in the video then it is normally $25 a jump in the U.S. anyway. If your going to do a tandem it's more like 150-300 a jump.

why wear a helmet when skydiving? i doubt that would save you if your chute didnt open

@Snafu1OH1 Helmet protect you for flying and landing crash. Please stop saying "If the chute didn't open -> than you die" this is a too hold sentence! Nobody would skydive if it were like this. If your canopy has got a problem than you can fix it; if you cannot fix that problem and the canopy can't fly, than you just cut off and open the reserve chute. So safety exist even in skydiving :) Hope this answer your question

@Snafu1OH1 Maybe chute oppened, but didn't stop all of the free falling, you messed up at some point, and hit the ground pretty hardly. Helmet is a must.

@Snafu1OH1 We mostly wear helmets in case we collide with other jumpers while in freefall. You can't pull your parachute if your unconscious :) It can also help if you have a rough landing.
