And WHY don't we hear it much now? Because she screwed it up. Now she can't sing very well. She really DID have a beautiful voice, and you're right that's part of why she got signed. But it's sad now that she can't sing like that anymore. =(

I agree, but I dont think she cant, I think she wont. Plus her label made her sing all sexy and breathy, and maybe she lost it. You lose your voice if you dont train it, she hasnt sang like that in years, so it might be gone now. SHE didnt ruin it, I dont think. But I think if she tries, she can still do it. But we'll prolly never hear THIS voice again. :( :(

@MsRussianBeauty she didnt lose it its just not as powerfull as it is her but then again we have to remember she was 16-17 on her BOMT tour but if u search up her he about to lose me demo or raw vocals he about to lose me in the chours u can hear her true voice its not as powerful as it is here but its still her true voice but it was max marton and her producer and jive recorders that made her sing in a more fake babieish voice on her oops i did it again album but she sings live on th FF tour:D

Why dont you keep in mind that Mariah did not remake that song without Steve Perry's permission no matter how much money she paid him, so he must have been honored in some way to have Mariah Carey do a version of it.
