  • The first cassette I ever bought was "Sin after Sin" !986

  • Both versions are good, they are just paying tribute to judas priest. They are in no way trying to be better or intended to be .... you people need to use your brain a little.

  • a thousand times better then the old pensioners version xD

  • @4everal0n3 You are such a poser dude!

  • @kangal8 yeah throw that in the face at someone you've never met... really mature. i do like 1 album of priest but im more of a slayer fan. really why am i putting down time at this ? xD just putted my own opinion out there xD

  • @4everal0n3 No I dont mind you liking this version more but slayer have 2 types of fans. The ones who appreciate metal and its influences and the posers who just like them to be "Different". I am a big Slayer fan but not giving Priest any respect is ignorant

  • @kangal8 u mad ? xD

  • @4everal0n3 chug more dicks dude.

  • pero por dios, la de Judas es un milón de veces mayor, Slayer aquí son unos mediocres

  • Where is scream?!

  • ... Gotta buy another copy of South of Heaven

  • This doesnt even come CLOSE to Priest... Halfords scream blows Slayer away any day imo.

  • Doesn't touch the original. Halford's scream is amazing.

  • @SexyHatMan Not saying that the catholics are the best people ever, just saying that Tom (and Dave) are catholic/christian-ish, to try to counteract all the religious hate thats going on. Unfortunately many christians in the past and present have missed the point of peace and love that is really the main focus of the religion.

  • @purestr99109 if you want peace prepare for war

  • @SexyHatMan ye have turned My Father's house into a den of thieves

  • This version is no way better than the original, just my opinion. I do love this though, i'm a huge Slayer fan. But Priest are far better players, and SImon's drum track is better than Daves version.

  • fuck yeah\m/!

  • they took a great riff and upped the ante. awesome song!!

  • one of the heaviest riffs in metal history

  • This version is tits, but the original version is big ole titties.

  • SSTAND! tuuuuuuu FFIGHT! tuuuuuu...

  • I like this version but FORBIDDEN's cover kicks so much more ass and you just can't beat the original.

  • @HalalKafir All versions of this kick ass song are good. Let's put it that way.

  • i like this version better

  • fuckin awesome, and yes I know its a cover

  • Either you like Slayer or you lick bald heads free of sperm!

  • STAB! *Weeeoo* FIGHT! *Weeeoo*

  • I think ist a good cover. And like tge high notes with the guitar. :) Araya not Halford..

  • wow i was hoping this would be somewhat good but it was total crap. disgrace to the Judas Priest original. replacing all the high notes w guitar. thumbs down

  • @elironpriest

High notes wouldn't fit into this band style. I really dislike it in every metal band to me it just doesn't fit. So I really like this song.

  • @PhilosophyComa The satanism is a gimmick. Look at the band VENOM. They arent satanists at all. xD

  • i like this better than judas priests ;P

its easier listening than the original as you dont have to listen to

    ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @2112murphy Look at the picture on this video, that looks pretty satanist to me!!!

  • @PhilosophyComa Due what does it fucking matter what the musicians believe? Did you like the song because it sounded good? thats all that matters doesnt even matter if the musicians are very good all that matters is what ears say.

  • @NOGODnever fuck wrong person I meant that @2112murphy

  • @PhilosophyComa agree

  • Shit.

  • Love Judas Priest and one of the best Rob Halford very underated just ask Slayer they know. Slayer does a great job and gives respect to the Priest.

  • hhaha kerry u fuckin scary metal monster

  • 4o\m/

  • damn! coffe kickin in!!

  • ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS OF '88

  • This song is fucking awesome!!!!! My favorite song!

  • Slayer fans are more aggressive

  • this one has a lot of heavy print on the riffs rather than thrash, still a killer.

  • @julesickdrums agreed comrade, my thoughts exactly

  • Slayer were the highpriests of metal.

  • amazing cover. instruentally harder hitting. halford of course takes vocals. but i appriciate araya for not trying to mimic. great cover.

  • judas is my fav band..but this is very good cover!

  • this versian is good, but you can't beat the metal god, Rob Halford

  • i like toast

  • i like Judas Priests version ...just a bigger Slayer fan so i prefere this version

  • the solo ruined the song........

    FUCKING SLAYER!!!

  • i hate stereotypical slayer fans who think every band is shit but slayer (note - I didnt say every slayer fan as I am a slayer fan, only stereotypical fans). If it wasn't for priest, slayer would not be the same band they are. Kerry King is the biggest priest fan in the world.

    Come on people

  • @ymiappf well said sir, fans here forget that even their favorite bands had idols before them and thats why metal is great because its fucking awesomeness from its humble beginnings until present and always will be

  • They both kick ass. There now can every one shut the fuck up and enjoy some metal.

  • Jeez, Slayer sucks, and the priest version is 100x better, it's not wonder this guy couldn't even do Rob alfords ever famous AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!! (which i think is the highest pitched sound i've ever heard a human make before) and the reason he couldn't is because he sucks. Death to Slayer, Long live Judas Priest!!!!!!!!!!

  • @nick6231995 dude Priest is arguably my favorite metal band, but come THE HELL ON. Araya sucks because he cant do a halford scream?????lmao did it ever occur to you that MOST people can't do halford screams?? granted araya isn't a particularly great vocalist, but he does what he does well.

  • @nick6231995 what the fuck is wrong with you man? sure Araya can't mimic that god like high pitched bad ass scream that Rob basicaly invented, but Slayer are incredible some of the songs they have written and composed and legendary, i like Slayer more, but i understand that Judas Priest are far more musically experienced then Slayer, but unlike you, i respect my fellow thrashers. Slayer AND Judas Preiest both fucking rock! see that? i liked BOTH bands, yeah you can do that nowadays, mindfucked.

  • i love both versions and both bands however slayer's version is a fuller sound and there is more going on but slayer had to play them high vocals on a guitar

  • id be fine with most gay people if they were like rob halford, who is a mortal god

  • this is amazing

  • Comment removed

  • Best King solo, IMO.

  • I dig how this track fits into the SoH album as the penultimate song before Spill the Blood.

  • What trips me out more is that Stryper covered "Breaking the Law". The end is near everyone.......The end is near!!!!! It's not a bad version or anything, just a sign of the apocalypse. LOL

  • @wormwoodacoustic How so? Kerry King is a fucking HUGE Judas Priest fan, and if this cover isn't enough look up the rehearsal where Kerry was playing Judas Priest songs with Pantera.

  • If you can't even respect Priest, Halford doesn't want you as a fan. Because you'd be completely dickless. And if you're putting homosexuality before the music, I'm already questioning your sexual security. A sure candidate for closet faggotry right there.

  • this version seems just a bit heavier than the priest version, so i gotta vote for this one!

  • Comment removed

  • Woah when I came on here there were 666 comments, you can tell for sure that there are true slayer fans on here!! \m/

  • hearing metalheads arguing with each other is sad like what the fuck save it for the mosh pit and the those fags on the street that point at you and laugh, no don't ignore! kill!

  • Glad to see a band like Slayer paying a tribute for bands like Priest :D

  • The slayer version is way more bad ass!!!

  • @GabeGossett Well if it wasn't for judas priest slayer probably wouldn't exist so take that bitch.

  • @Shinzu92 Exactly! Sabbeth, Priest, Maiden: the foundation of metal. Hell, they (the sound people) played Island of Domination after Megadeth and before Slayer played.

  • @GabeGossett Hardly....

  • Dissident Aggressor is the worst song on the stained class albums and I lvoe the whole cd. Slayers cover on South of Heaven is fucking nice.

  • i alway's give props to the original version of songs anyway. Priest's version will alway's be the best. The same for Queen's stoned cold crazy, though Metallica did a good job on it. Made it heavier but the original is why it's a rock classic and made the newer generations want to cover it in the first place. Same for slayer, no one could do a slayer song lik e the kings of thrash.

  • Unleash in the east was all done in the studio, not a live album at all. Painkiller has the worst live singing i ever heard....I could do a better job singing it. He's not a great live singer, saw them twice on the painkiller tour and with his band fight. Never Impressed with his live voice, though not horrible either.

  • @mikeskyler71 true so true, halford is a great METAL SINGER but he's awful live

  • @mikeskyler71 I guess you never heard Sad Wings of Destiny, Stainded Class, Sin After Sin, Screaming For Vengeance, defenders of the faith, and painkiller albums. Buy them today they are jsut as kick ass as the 1st 6 slayer ablums. if you like metal you will love them. My first Priest album was british steel and I thoght it sucked and I judged the band from just that album...trut me dude Priest is just as goos...if not more good than Slayer.

  • @Dshtreeriverfuk Are you talking to me?.....I been listening to priest since i was 14 years old, now i'm 39. for you're information....Dissident Aggressor is on the sin after sin album., not stained class.

My first Priest album was british steel and I thoght it sucked and I judged the band from just that album...I heard their other cd's latet and was blown away...trust me dude Priest is just as good...if not more good than Slayer.

  • @Dshtreeriverfuk Your right it is. I still have those cds and love um.

  • @Dshtreeriverfuk Your right it is. I still have those cds and love um. I get those two cds confused sometimes because they are so close to eachother.

  • Stop fucking arguing, you're giving the metal community a bad name.

  • Comment removed

  • @mikeskyler71 if you think that is a trick you never ever saw halford in a concert

  • Comment removed

  • The orginal opening scream from the priest version isn't real. a studio trick. sorry, but someone had too say it. i'm an old school priest fan. I like the priest version better, but slayer did a good job of course. Yes, halford's a great metal singer, but a bit overated in some way's. outside of metal he isn't all that great. He has a weak mid range IMO.

  • @mikeskyler71 I keep trying to tell hardcore priest fans that that thing halford does on stage when he twists his hand is a signal for some guy to raise his voice, but nobody believes me. His a kick ass singer anyway, but every time he gets really high up he twists his hand like a knob, it's kind of obvious.

  • @mikeskyler71 That's pretty obvious! Just like every guitar effect invented, singers do it too. No big deal. Metal wouldn't sound good with acoustic guitars or vocals.

  • slayer does this song with serious style!

  • No scream???? the scream was the climax of the whole song!! We all know he could pull it off like in Angel of death or mandatory suicide, so im not impressed with Mr. Araya right now. Even though Slayer is my fav metal band

  • YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DACOWLES Angel of death was also done in 86. Im not doubting his talent at all, Slayer is my fave band btw. but hes gotten older in this album.

  • great song !!

why some people post which version, slayer`s or priest`s, they prefer !!??

nobody gives a fuck, which u like more...

    \m/

  • this would be a cool t shirt to have

  • All credits to judas priest but I still like this version more because it's heavier.

  • i like both versions, You rock Judas Priest and Slayer! :)

  • @CAptDuM I don't give a damn whether or not you commented on this 2 years ago or yesterday, but judging by the number of comments you posted, you probably spent an entire week on youtube trolling slayer. Dude, If you're such a huge fan why not spend that time listening to Priest? You're not doing any good to either band by spreading shitty youtube comments. It's fucking sad how people go on the internet and inject it with retarded flame wars. Why can't your kind just shut up once and for all?

  • Mmkay,I'll have to say this. Araya's not really a good singer,he's luclky he can even sing decent nowadays. But he's still fucking epic to listen to.Halford,well...he's extremely better, but I love em just as much.

  • Lambardo could never pull off the orginal skill of simon phillips

  • judas priest should sue slayer for murder.

  • this is proof that covers can surpass the original. Anyone who disagrees as an old 70's fag! :) Theres no way that you can say Judas is better than this......

  • @cromlek Listen To The Fking Vocals of Halford and then Compare them to Araya, Araya got Noting On Halford, Old 70's Fag, you are Fag, and not the real fans that Like Both The Orginal and the Cover, Show some fking Repect and Stop Embarrassing Yourself

  • @HardRockLover HardCockLover

  • @cromlek haha, Proves a point, real mature dude

  • @cromlek OMG the Priest original album version smokes this in every way - production, gnar, etc. This is a good tribute - it doesn't even touch the original. Sin After Sin baby.

  • slayer jest kapelą ponadczasową a ich punkowe brzmienie jest zajebiste

  • @martino722

    Punkowe? Nie obrażaj Slayera :)

  • awesome cover slayer fuckin kicks ass fuck those critics they dont know shit

  • Geez.

Why are Priest and Slayer fans fighting on here and putting each other down?

They are both amazing versions. If you do not see that and decide inside to rail on about Halford's cock or Araya knowing better than to attempt to mimic Halford, and instead making this song their own way... then you fucking suck. Both sides of this debate suck. There is no debate worth hashing out here!

Both versions kick ass. I prefer the priest version, and I also love the slayer version

    Fuck The World

  • @RemoteMemory Right the Fuck On!

  • @RemoteMemory Well said lad.

  • @RemoteMemory the slayer version kills the priest version you shit eater

  • @RemoteMemory I've also wondered why metal fans turn on each other at the drop of a dime. It's supposed to be a brotherhood.

  • @RemoteMemory theres noway they cant sound similar to each other when there singing the same fucking lyrics i love priests for priests shit and i love slayer for being themselves

  • @RemoteMemory really

  • @RemoteMemory i agree. doesnt it mean something that slayer covered Priest? doesnt it mean something that priset never sued? get along or gtfo

  • @RemoteMemory cause priest is gay.

  • @KornOil how about you shut the fuck up.

  • @KornOil - Priest can be as gay as they want, so long as they sound the way the do.

  • @RemoteMemory yeah if we don't get along who is going to want to get in the pit with a bunch of sociopathic metal heads.....except....sociopathic metalheads....what was the question?

  • @RemoteMemory I concur. I grew up with the Priest. Had most of their albums on vinyl. Then along came Slayer. Hell ya to both of em.

  • Because Toms shitty voice fucked up the song. That's why. Jeff''s cover of the solo, is shit. It's not a good cover.

  • @jfkdjfd How's your cover?

  • @BoMrVice My cover is perfect. The only problem is that i have no band, and therefore cannot release it to the world. I feel so saddened that i cannot share my talent with the world and show the world something that is better than Slayer.

  • the vocals don't compare but the drums are way better

  • DEAD KENYANS

    OF SPACE AND TIME UNIVERSAL

Is that what he just said?

Sorry :P I personally prefer the Judas Priest version.

Now I need to go and look up the lyrics to this song, that just sounds so weird.

  • this is a rare case when the cover is better than the original.

  • @cromlek Sorry, but no.

  • couldnt even touch preists vocals had to use a guitar to find the pitch

  • @killemall610 thats because halford gargles cum

nah preist is a bad ass band even if turbo lover is about a dildo and halford had sexual intercourse with elton john.

  • most people that Ive talked to about dissident aggressor think its an original slayer song no offense to slayer.. all hail but slayer couldn't even touch Judas priest the riffs in between they had to use a guitar to even get close to preists vocals fuckin amazing

  • who does it better? I love both bands, Priest original - /watch?v=H_mpt8xyZVI

There are so very few people that can hit all the octaves Rob did. But over all I think Slayer does it a tad better.

  • Better than the original!

Slayer's cover gives Dissident Aggressor a whole new meaning!

  • SWEET STUFF my neighbors curse you lost my 5th copy of south yrs ago Thx 4thetreat

  • Slayer and Judas Priest ROCK MY WORLD

  • Any other Slayer songs where the singing is like this?

  • @RobTheWhiteZombie maybe on the cover of the punk band "minor threat's" guilty of being white. But this is NOT Tom's natural vocal range. But I LOVE all three bands!

  • Greetz from the Netherlands/Holland-Amsterdam

  • the drums and guitar riff during the verses are sick

  • Slayer has the best album covers of all time. I was fascinated by them when I saw my dads cd collection

  • Awesome cover :P Love this song

  • Hell yeah! Slasyer & Judas Priest >>>>> all

  • not sure which priest cover i like by Slayer more, this or aggressive perfecter

  • @truanarchy990 duh aggressive perfector isnt a priest song how could u even think that? because the titles of the songs sound the same?

  • its an ok cover

  • How could people dislike such an awesome cover?!?!?! I know... they missed it ;)

  • only good cover of anything i know

  • Kerry King has always been a huge Judas Priest Fan

  • @MegaCrusher99 screw you, this cover rules

  • @MegaCrusher99 they're heavy metal gods and slayers're thrash metal gods!

  • Stand! Fight!

  • Trash metal Is The Law.. killed truzzi of shit

  • Not bad but not even close to the brutal original song by the priests. It´s hard to beat Halford.

  • @Gherson069 hard? no.....it's VERY CLOSE to impossible to beat one of the godliest vocalist of metal (another one being Bruce Dickenson of Iron Maiden, and I'm not 100% sure if I spelled his name right, so sorry in advance if I did)

  • I'M BERLIN!!!

  • @edgar867

    I' M NICARAGUA ! ! !

  • i like hip hop, but this song is amazing!! (: i love there whole album(;

    fuck justin bieber xD

  • nice cover buy i like the original version

  • kick ass Slayer cover....i love Priest and was into Slayer's first 5 albums only but this cover is sick....turn a classic heavy into thrash...\m/...

  • I know what I am Im Berlin!

  • what's with all the goddamn 666's? that's not the real number.

  • @FlyingEwok3967 616 \m/

  • This does justice to how heavy this song was for 1977

  • I figured this wouldn't be very good after their In A Gadda La Vida cover...but this kicks ass. =D

  • This is an evil cover! Slayer were HUGE into Priest!
