  • what was running through oliva's mind when she said "most wonderful" .... we may never know

  • 9:01 avada kedavra!

  • The movie She's the Man is based on this..

  • Bellatrix and Umbridge :D

  • how have you made division of yourself, lol

  • Helena (as Olivia): The fuck is going on here?!?!?! D=

  • Lol!

  • Why isn't there any 9:34?

  • Lol I was Viola/Caesario in my school's production of this, and this scene was always really fun to rehearse.

  • I want Olivias HAIR!!

  • 6:17...

    amazing...

  • I love when Sebastian just runs in and kisses Olivia and nods casually to Orsino. He's so clueless lmao

  • "most wonderful" i love you helena bonham carter! XD

  • It's fasinating that Shakespeare got the connection of twins. The man was really beyond his time in his observations. He wasn't that old or world traveled. He must have had a keen sense of people on the whole when he'd only lived in a couple of places and known only a limited circle of people. He got that twins have a special bond. How strange. It kind of freaks me out to think he knew there is a special bond between twins. I wonder where he got his knowledge from? Oh, to read his mind.

  • @Songsmirth Shakespeare knew about Twins because he was the father of a pair of them! His twins, Hamnet (who died at the age of 11) and Judith, were born in 1585, 15 years before he wrote Twelfth Night.

  • @xpetitefeex Interesting. Thanks X. :) Songs

  • "Most wonderful." We all know what Helena/Olivia thinks of this "division"... :3

  • @turandot8289 LOL. That's the same thing that I said when I saw it. :D

  • 0:02 That's what happens when you dob on drunkards...

  • Am I the only one who finds Feste`s song a little grim ?

  • Gosh I love Orsino.

  • Hahahaha "most wonderful!" hahaha

  • Sebastian: *enters*

    Everyone: W.T.F. !?!?

  • it's funny how Sebastian greeted Antonio like he wasn't surrounded by guards and in chains XD

  • HELENA BONHAM CARTER IS SO AWESOME IN THIS MOVIE !

  • All i can say now is well u guys are screwed!

  • Olivia: Husband!

    Viola: WTF!!!!

  • Aw, Festes looked so proud when he saw Toby finally marrying her ^.^

  • oh Toby Stephens' voiceeee <3333

  • Nay! I'll never believe a mad man 'till I've seen his brains!

  • This is great!

  • As if any scene with Toby Stephens in it weren't exciting enough... he seems to have a long, swirly, scarlet-lined cape. Oh heavens.

  • LOL everyone's so confused! XDD

  • ...bullcrap.

  • When Orsino is angry is just looks passionate and like he's about to kiss the person he is speaking to.

  • @mollyreadsalot what I'm really confused is that Feste saw Sir Toby marrying Maria and then when Sir Andrew told everyone what Viola(in disguise) did to Sir Toby. I mean, didn't the fight end a long time ago? and then they bring it up? WTF lol

  • In Shakespeare's plays there is always a final scene where everybody is together in one place hashing out everything that happened, a final explosion where everything is revealed. It's marvelous!

  • LOL Poor Viola

  • XD. When she said "Husband!", I totally cracked. Oh....shoot.

  • Aha.. Although I don't understand this way of talking

This things hilarious we read/watched this in class and now as an end of the yr project we're acting it out

    I'm the Priest xD

  • I love how in 6:41, Orsino is still defensive and indignant on Caesario's behalf :)

  • things r gettin interestin~ *sing song voice*

  • THE DUKE'S FACE ON 8:21,

    LOOOOOOLLLLL

  • Haha, the priest can't just say "they got married." :^)

  • the Duke has problems! He is so dramatic! hehe!

  • haha 8:27 Sebastian is so clueless...

  • hah i kno!! hes just gonna mrry some strange women?

  • hahaha yup. that's a weird one.

  • lol we r watching this in class and we havent finished it yet and im a dork who couldnt wait till monday to finish it and see wat happens..lol

  • some strange pretty woman...men never ask questions when it comes to stuff like that :D lol

  • lol ya

  • @dolphinrider22 Sure, if he falls in love with her, why not? She is wealthy, beautiful and obviously waay into him. Why wouldn't an orphan marry her? Besides back then its not like people dated for a year then married. Most marriages were arranged to some degree. Heck people marry each other without ever having seen each other.

  • Well, you only lived for what, 21 years?

    Time's a-ticking

  • I love Cesario/Viola's "OHHHH" after Orsino's "My gentleman, Cesario?" It makes me laugh :)

I have to act that part out for English class... I'm Sir Andrew :P.

  • "most wonderful!"

HA! love helena so much in this! =D

  • Helena's face at 8:17 is priceless she's like WTF?!!! It's hilarious, I've never seen 12th Night before and it's fantastic!!

  • LOL everyone is dead confused and Sebastian is just acting like everything is normal. Kissing Olivia, nodding at the duke and then greeting Antonio. Hahaha!!

  • Orsino's face at 8:23 is priceless

  • I feel sorry for Sir Andrew throughout this whole movie. I know it's supposed to be a comedy, but he's too much of a tragic figure for me to laugh at =(

  • ha ha but no. sir andrew is a dick so i don't feel sorry for him. i mean. really! gawd Olivia doesnt love him so he needs a F ing life! FOOL HE IS!

  • I love how the did this... So perfectly captured with everyone's faces so much as words!

  • at the last scene of this part, everyone is so lost and had the WTF look on their face...

  • Ben Kingsley is so awesome in this movie.

  • As always.

  • im the duke in this play!

  • Viola is like, I am so confused!!

  • stop at 6:19 really interesting

  • So at the start, is Feste like wtf, or does he know that he's a boy now?

  • HAHAHH, Feste actually knew the whole time. xD

  • lol olivia looks clueless

  • Is that arouynd 8.20?

If it is, I totally agree

  • I feel sorry for Malvolio :{ ....I mean just when he crys in that cell claiming he is not mad and just because he may have been quite strict i pray they do not set him up. aswell as him, poor olivia :{ but im sure you will know the reason for that. apart from that this is a splendid movie though i sometimes don't understand the meaning of a word. i mean to learn old english. this helps my english progect. thanks for uploading it.

  • He's strict because he's a puritan

  • I have to act this scene out tomorrow for my English class! This helps me a lot!

  • Omg I have to act it on Tuesday!

  • As thre song in 'Kiss me Kate' say's.....

    Check out your Shakeespeare.

  • @Harvey030547 -

That's "Brush up your shakespeare" - but same idea more or less :)

  • Poor Sebastian. Always late to the party.

  • I feel sorry for Malvolio LewisJKnight!

  • gods, helena is beautiful

  • PS 10 otta 10 for lighting techie

  • What do you hate so much about this version, out of curiosity?

  • Why is it better to recreate something that is already done like a robot then to be creative and put something of your own into the mix? They are true to the spirit of the story, and in fact I think that this is in some ways more enjoyable then the original.

  • Nor as written? Too much changed? Are we watching the same movie?

  • such an idiotic comment.. this is actually such a wonderful rendition of the play.. the changes made make the story even more powerful!

  • Am I the only one that feels sorry for Malvolio. They did take the joke too far.

  • but he was not a nice man who did deserve his punishment cruel as it was, he was broken but it was his own pride and self love that took him to his downfall

  • I would feel bad for Malvolio if he learned his lessson, but he doesn't. Even after Feste points out how badly he treated everyone, starting with the way he told Olivia to throw Feste out at her brothers funeral, Malvolio still says that he will have revenge on everyone. If he admitted that he made peoples lives bad just because he could, I would maybe feel bad for him. But unrepentant, I would say Malvolio deserves what he got.

  • they don't even look that much alike

  • 9:02 her face!

  • If you read it, it's LOTS cooler (and racier too) Beautiful!

  • oh! you just have to love shakespeare!

  • After since Sebastian showed up and the confusion started escalating, I've been laughing basically the whole way through!

Thank you so much for this!

  • wait. Whose the one that married Olivia?

  • sebastian

  • How on EARTH would they not recognize each other...haha but there I go again being logical

  • Oooooh this is a gorgeous movie! Bless you for posting it!!

  • hahahahahhahahaha "most wonderful!" i love how she delivers that line :-)

  • Watch Viola's face when the priest arrives. It's so "Another one in this clowning. This can't be happening"

  • i luv helena 's expression!

  • "Aye husband" whoa..Orsino..didn't see that coming..

  • part 12 loads really slow

  • I absolutelylove this film it is so sad i cried at the end!!!!!!! lovin it
