Everything we need to know is written in the Quran, whether we follow it or not is up to the individual however we should not give an opinion on the teachings of the Quran. It is a grave sin to draw pictures of our Prophet (saw) as it triggers idol worshipping. By the mercy of God, I recommend you remove those pictures or others may assume that drawing pictures of the Prophet (saw) is permissible.
@AalimahSiddika So without consensus (ijma) there should be a mutual respect by agreeing to disagree (ikhtilaf) which is one of the most inspiring lessons from Islamic fiqh. The image is not derogatory, but if you disagree with the principle of the image then you can choose not to watch. Also, if you take the banning image idea to its logical conclusion it would be better not to watch youtube at all since all images (suwar) have been created to imitate Allah's creation. Salam.
