  • I love that sound

  • so was this factory in this sled?

  • Awsome! Completely love the sound of an wankel! In sweden we had a snowmobile maker called "Ockelbo" named after the village they were built in, and they also had wankel engines in a couple of snowmobiles. How much does a Arctic cat with wankel engine cost in the us? In sweden thay are verry rare and moust of all expensive.

  • Yes, the Sachs Wankels burn a gas/oil mix much like 2 cycle piston engines. Had a 303 for years. Nothing sounds meaner!

  • omg i want one so badly i can taste the 2 cycle oil exhaust

  • @KrankieV2

You wont smell any 2 cycle oil exhaust from this.... Wankels arent 2 stroke's

  • @PKSyversen they still use 2 cycle oil and smell the same... DERP... i said 2 cycle oil exhaust not that a wankel is a 2 cycle engine that would be retarded.... i've been around them before and they smell the same

  • mad engine, i like it

  • that on my x18 pocketbike

  • thanks for posting

  • go kart motor? lol

  • with that kind of exhaust pressure, you could mow the lawn as well

  • is that motor two 303s thru bolted?

  • awesome i need to be in to these crap

  • that thing sounds mint!

  • very cool!

  • beast

  • lol what a beast!

  • I WANT ONE, I have a chance to get the engine right now, and maybe put it in a mini bike

  • Rotary power :D, i heard of the 303 but never 606 weird, i do believe it's twin rotors :)

  • SOUNDS LIKE A CHAINSAW ON CRACK I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOVE IT, THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE

  • I really want one of these engines now... preferably in a sled or a go-kart..

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • tourqe galore!

  • I want one. I don't need a hood

  • That things sounds mean! Nice job. I got a mint 1972 Panther 303. Luv them things! I bet they run hot. Hence the reason without the hood.

  • What a sound, What a monster machine!

  • what kind of fuel does it run? regular 40:1 premix or a special oil? i know AC used to make an oil called rotolube for the 303's, but i dont know what the difference is in the oils.

  • ********Thanks for the interest in the 606. just so everybody is a where. the 606 was tested by a lot of manufacturers in the early 70', they ran way to hot and would burn up hoods and vibrate to much. only a few are known of. Hope this answers some of your questions. Thanks for the comments!

  • reminds me of a Bridgeported 13B...lol love it

  • how how much would 1 of these motors be worth

  • @tristanharmer not a clue

  • Holy shit dude that´s a powerfull engine! Does it burn much fuel?

  • @IamGrizzly89 oh yea. i have a 303 which is half this and it drinks alright. you can see the fuel going down in the tank every 2 minutes!

  • are these standed twin rotor ? i wouldnt mind doing this to my efi km48 lol

  • what sort of HP can you get out of one of these 606 motors?? cheers

  • That sounds like it has a huge port on it.

  • Does anyone know where you can find one of these 606 motors?

  • SUPER COOL! Love anything Rotary hahahaha!

  • @454sskilla yea.. the 303 is has a displacement of 303 cubic center meters (cc) or (ccm) and has only one rotor. The 606 is two 303's pancaked together with a plate separating the combustion chambers. The engine is now doubled in displacement and adds up to 606cc's total.

  • Absolutely awsome!!

  • A wealthy businessman in my town was given a 606 wankle by Polaris. I believe that it was in a Mustang chassis. The issue wasn't overheating, it was vibration. The motors were coupled together by Polaris, not by the Sachs factory. The cylinders fired at the same time instead of being staggered. It tore the stock motor mounts apart so they tried solids with additional mounts. It ripped them right out of the bulkhead. It sat in his garage for a few years and then went to the dump in 1975.

  • so thats a factory built 606?

ive only known of the 303s and never heard of a twin rotor 606.

someone should make a liquid cooled rotary sled. that would solve the overheating issue.

  • sweet. great take off, even on grass ha. good for a straight shot, then you gotta turn

  • 303 has one rotor. 606 wankel has 2 rotors

  • that is AWESOME!!!!

  • thanks

  • wicked

  • That motor sounds awesome.

  • Im not sure if the info about the 5 motors are true. A couple of manufactures tried this engine but the ran way to hot and would melt the hood after long running time..

  • I know of 1 other 606. That was factory raced and the guy that raced it owns it. He also will not sell his. The machine I own is not complete yet, Still need to make a hood for it. and some other things. So as of now 2 are known of. More movies of it to come.

  • OMG !!!! WOW That is one hell of a Sachs Engine

And like if you still have sled and like want to sell Sled for top dollar Let me know I Am fan of Arctic cat Sleds And collect them my seff and I have the 303 sled as i am typing
