Nice lesson, your very informative and easy to listen to. Great camera angle also, which makes it more confident to play the bass now by watching this. Before I probably would just pick up a bass and play cluelessly. Now I can manage to expand on this an improvise. Thanks a lot, and for sharing this lesson.
@josephkb214 The older the better. He has talent; and you can't even write something offensive in any way, shape or form. What makes you think your so cool? For saying "old man?" No. You are NOT anywhere near being a musician because musicians have respect for one another. For the most part. Go watch a teletubbies video child; and leave us alone.
Hello and thanks for your post. I do mention at 1:13 in this video that the aspect ratio of You Tube is widescreen and that in the original videos everything necessary is viewable.
Hi George, I took your beginner to intermediate and found it very useful. Still working away on it. However I play mostly blues so I downloaded your first blues video and looking foreward to getting the second!
The third video in my series "Creating and Developing Blues Bass Lines and Riffs" went live a few days ago. I haven't even advertised it here or on my website yet.
could you also post "how to create a metall riff" it would really awesome, since i'm trying to get as more ideas as i can thanks. btw, i can be thrash metal for instance, like fast punk - blues mix or something. thanks a lot!
Thanks mate, i have been messing around with different genres lately :) so far i have been working with jpop & jrock, but i have also gotten an insterest in blues, mainly because it requires the use of the technical techniques on a basee

cool, however, i was getting some kind of goofy buzz in the audio from time-to-time.

Thanks for pointing that out. The original is fine, so the buzz must have happened in the transfer to You Tube format.

Awesome nice sound & quality too, may I perhaps get some tabs for the first blues pattern you played? Thanks in advance..
Absolutionftw 2 years ago
Thank you. I don't do tabs, mainly because they prevent us from listening properly. (You can probably pick up the pattern with a few more views.)
The pattern is D, its higher octave D, C, G, G#, A
Enjoy!
