    Kind regards,

    George

  • ME GUSTA

  • Nice lesson, your very informative and easy to listen to. Great camera angle also, which makes it more confident to play the bass now by watching this. Before I probably would just pick up a bass and play cluelessly. Now I can manage to expand on this an improvise. Thanks a lot, and for sharing this lesson.

  • Hello and thank you for your kind, insightful comments.

    Bass regards,

    George

  • wow aweseome (=

  • Thank you. I trust I could help.

    George

  • cool

  • Great - thanks for your post!

    George

  • old school player old man

  • @josephkb214 The older the better. He has talent; and you can't even write something offensive in any way, shape or form. What makes you think your so cool? For saying "old man?" No. You are NOT anywhere near being a musician because musicians have respect for one another. For the most part. Go watch a teletubbies video child; and leave us alone.

  • I just got a new P-bass and these were fun to play

  • Very cool - thanks for your post.

    George

  • Thank you too mch, You are The Man!

  • Hello and thanks for your post. I do mention at 1:13 in this video that the aspect ratio of You Tube is widescreen and that in the original videos everything necessary is viewable.

    Kind regards,

    George

  • hey could i put this in one of my band's songs?

  • For sure. These are generic concepts that can be applied to lots of songs in lots of music genres.

    George

  • hi thank you for the video it was very usefull. i just became a bass player and im looking forward in the blues/jazz section

  • Great - thanks for your comments and info.

    George

  • Hi George, I took your beginner to intermediate and found it very useful. Still working away on it. However I play mostly blues so I downloaded your first blues video and looking foreward to getting the second!

  • Hello Nate, and thanks for your input.

The third video in my series "Creating and Developing Blues Bass Lines and Riffs" went live a few days ago. I haven't even advertised it here or on my website yet.

    Kind regards,

    George

  • superb as ever george- hope your well from one of your ex- students who did both courses. think i'll sign up for this one too?

  • Yes, doing very well - thank you.

    George

  • cool, however, i was getting some kind of goofy buzz in the audio from time-to-time.

  • Thanks for pointing that out. The original is fine, so the buzz must have happened in the transfer to You Tube format.

    George

  • Thank you George.Your videos are great .

    I'm not a bass player,but I enjoy them very much,and are very useful .

  • I thank you too. I also often find useful info in things that are not directly related to what I do ;-)

    George

  • It's been a while. :)

  • It certainly has been a while. I wanted to start recording again back in August 2009, but stuff got in the way.

    Thanks for your patience :)

    George

  • This sounded just like good Precision with flats ;)

  • Exactly - that it!

    George

  • Awesome nice sound & quality too, may I perhaps get some tabs for the first blues pattern you played? Thanks in advance..

  • Thank you. I don't do tabs, mainly because they prevent us from listening properly. (You can probably pick up the pattern with a few more views.)

    The pattern is D, its higher octave D, C, G, G#, A

    Enjoy!

    George

  • Great stuff George! Many thanks, again!

  • I thank you too. Its good to see so much appreciation.

    George
