  • I remember seeing this song on Chris Sheppards show one friday night god IM OLD

  • Incredible. I don't care about meeting "famous" people-- I wanna meet NoMeansNo. And for John to give me drum lessons. For free (JUST KIDDIN', I'd actually pay a good chunk of cash for that, and gladly). Or Rob to give me bass lessons. OR, I'd just love the chance to see 'em live!

  • there should be a conecrt with p.i.l., no means no and exTip -- i would like to have a beer there ;-)

  • the finest band ever...

  • Pigment Vehicle loved this band you can tell

  • Do you know where this was filmed and when? OH MAN... I never saw them in the Andy Kerr days... so grateful for this footage!!

  • was rob ever young?

  • "Its too late baby Its too late man.." it kills

  • seen em in dublin in 94 and every gig scence,

helped them load there gear into the van one time. a realy decent bunch of lads, always there on the floor to chat after the gig.

  • I'll start listening to the oldies stations when they start playing nomeansno!!! :-))

  • fuckin blast !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Canadians must have no clue if they're still bowing down to barenaked ladies instead of nomeansno

  • awesome i have a clue

    go canucks go

    van city punks 4ever

  • I bow down to nomeansno and im canadian

  • One of the bands more Canadians should be proud of. Creating the kind of music they want to, as opposed to creating the kind they feel they have to,

is something to be truly proud of. There's more to music than just following a formula. No Mean No challenge themselves and deconstruct the formula. Exploring music's darker and rawer side. Everybody has a dark side. Let's not kid ourselves. Now...enjoy the ride! hahahahaha

  • It's been said before but.. No Means No is great!!

  • lol. this is godly

  • ah yes, those were the days. love those guys. but wow, they can change their shirts really fast!

  • The MOST underated band in Canada!!!

  • one of the best songs. great band

  • i imagine the breakup was amiable. tom and andy and the wrights all contributed to various showbusiness giants stuff, and they're still all part of the same victoria scene.

  • When Jesus comes back, He'll be singing this song. "Small Parts Isolated And Destroyed!"

  • Yeah man awesome...I want to get this album again, lost it like 10 years ago...I frickin LOVE NOMEANSNO

  • last time i saw this video was probably 10 years ago, thanks for posting, it's killer

  • Andy couldn't bear it anymore so he left and released a couple of Hissanol records. It is some funky experimental stuff.

But yeah great posting, I wish I had seen them in old line-up.

  • im going to see them tonight first time since roskilde 92 or 93

  • John is a god..seen them in Regina couple nights ago and they fkn slayed,,as usual.Got one of Johns drumsticks to,,,,who is jealous?

  • I'm so glad I could watch this video,thanks a bunch!!

I hadn't seen such old material in video, only the albums and recent DVDs.I mighty appreciate it. Cheers!

  • Ah man, great memories. Saw them throughout the 80's, WRONG being the best album I think!

  • Wow, NMN were so original back then for a hardcore band. I'm off to listen to my old vinyl again. Thanks for that.

i reckon the year would have been around 1989 as that album came out in 1988.

  • Now, THIS is Nomeansno. They were just never nearly as good without Andy. I've seen em live with Tom several times. Nothing ever came close to seeing them on the Wrong tour.

  • Oh man that was nice. I always wondered what Andy looked like, got into NMN around 0+2=1, but never saw Andy live. I sort of like his style better than Tommy's, who is more deliberately quirky. I saw them a couple times last year, and they seem to have slowed up a touch from their older shows in the early 90's, but the shows still seem to F'n rule.

  • Do you know the date of the recording?

  • Andy was indeed great. Tom is also fricking great and has been for many a year now. He even did a little rant aboot it last night in Portland.

  • This is so beautiful...

  • I don't miss Andy. Tom freakin' rules, and he made that song his in this last tour.

  • neat.neat.neat...

  • This is great, thank you. I've seen dozens of bands over the years but it was only when I saw NMN in 2004 that I knew what being "blown away" meant. No one can play like NoMeansNo!

  • YES! THANK YOU!!! I saw the shows at that era. I really miss Andy Kerr as guitarist of NMN. Do you got more of this footage? (or anyone else).

  • is that guitarist still with the band?

  • No, thats Andy Kerr he did more music after NMN under the name Hissanol, their second album is really good. Tom Holliston is currently thier axeman.

  • nomeansno saved my life!

  • this is just a mind-numbing classic. These guys are just shredding it up in this. holy cr*p!

  • So good. Can't wait to see 'em again this fall!

  • excellent footage ... anyone know where it was at?. rated 'em since sex mad and seen 'em a fair few times.

  • where in gods name did you get this?

  • Wow. F#cking wow. Thankyou to whatever genie unearthed this treasure. I'm going to smile for a week.

  • HOly shit. awesome. Chvasta? that sounds familiar..i think i got a nomeansno shirt from him off ebay

  • Be sure to visit nomeanswhatever.com for tour dates, info on the cd and an informative message board.

  • @parris43 way ahead of you.....6 more sleeps (unless I have a nap this afternoon) until I see 'em in their hometown.

  • awesome -- i have gone to every show since 1987! Sex Mad on ---- and they have always given a show as intense as this --- NoMeansNo truly rule.

  • Fantastic historical artifact! Can't wait for the new album in August
