  • Stud was our favorite driver at Thunder Road during the 70s and 80s. I was saddened to find that he has died. I live in Connecticut but, each summer, we would visit our Grandparents on their summer home farm in Bradford and we would go to Barre on Thursday nights to watch the races. Stub Fadden, Russ Ingerson, Dubois, the Dragon Brothers (Beaver and Bobby) Lee Carpenter in his Studebaker Lark, Tom Tiller --- they were the BEST of the BEST!
