  • I want glasses with adblock.

  • the stuff asus is trying to do makes apple look like a bunch of five year olds with tech from the 80's

  • too bad i won't be able to j.erk off with that wearable smartphone thing on because of that gesture control :))

  • I want to put my oUo in a (!)

  • Eh, I don't really think the idea of a "wearable spartphone" will flow. And a flat computer? Maybe for business executives in meetings, but for the average, everyday consumer Joe, NO. I mean, thinness and lightweight are both qualities that are seeked out in today's technology market, but an all out flat laptop? What would anyone use that for?

  • when it will come out? i can't find anything like that on their site and it's already 2011

  • But the question is "Will it blend?"

  • @ArT1Tuvsho Sigh, there's always someone who needs to say that huh? :P

  • Windows better step up before Apple takes takes this idea

  • @SuperRandom3333 actually it's Microsoft better step up before Apple takes this idea

  • the word technologies looks weird

  • concept similar to Microsoft Surface...

  • If this was actually possible with our current technology, Apple would already be selling stuff like this.

  • @ProfessorDarmanian

That's already possible. It's all about cost and the right timing and marketing plan.

The bracelet thingy is really easy to do, there are already so many thin devices out there, and so many with motion sensing, that a bracelet like that shouldn't cost much, after that it's all about the programs they include.

The paper like screen is already an existing technology. Here is a 3 year old exemple : youtube.com/watch?v=k6bkmPjVF-k

  • how mutch its gonna cost?

  • Floors me! I've wanted this wrist computer/communication center my whole life. Now I can have it!

  • can you tell me which software tool is used to create that video efficts?

  • @adityagade09 easy after effects

  • Bullshit!

  • Copying NOKIA concept!!!

  • @obpa1 well see here is the thing. asus has already created the phisical working producct, i have yet to see one from NOKIA.

  • I would have it now!

    It is so amazing

  • pretty much like that yeah... I guess the feminine public would get specially interested on that special feature ;D

    "E

  • Seems cool integrating concept, lovely presentation and all... but i wanna see some real people using it!!

Wait... can i be at home and check GPS position on my husband if he's wearing that fancy wristwatch?? Heheh

  • @onekellywonder hahaha, to see if he's actually going to bowling alley instead of strip club on bowling nights?

  • Waveface is awesome*_*

  • i think they are trying to patent some idea.. hahaha but a flexible computer is really awesome!! heheh

  • If they really pull this off then only one word cud describe these new gadgets of the future...

    SEXUAL!

  • They haven't thought this through

  • they just stole nokia's ideas of Nokia Nanotech "Morph"

  • @Flow4tune Morph was purely conceptual. Certainly this contains some design similarities, but Morph was set to use far more complex tech, whereas Waveface was demonstrated at CES. Morph won't be around until a long while from now. :)

  • who else just came?

  • freaking wifi search on a rist watch(mp4) ohhh man i want ittt !@!@@!@!@!@@!@@! ermm just to think about it 15 years ago we hade fat computers but know we have skinny and fast this world is moving fast

  • Mine goodness

  • i like the concept and i hope these devices will be as awesome as they look now :) I already love the Waveface light :)

  • The Introducing of your Video is tooo long!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is a huge concept. Where would you even start if you were to try to write the software?

  • You'd start by using open standards, for one. Keeps your software relevant when technology takes new directions.

  • @circular05 I hope I don't seem rude when I say that sounds more like a buzz word than a plan of attack. What I was getting at was the context sensitive information. I should have been more specific.

  • @5555555jack Ah, you mean if you were Asus, writing the software? Because if that's the case, you'd probably just make sure your hardware is pretty well documented and open to enthusiasts, and then do your usual crap job of writing manufacturer-provided software for it. That's what manufacturers do.

  • haha yeah, that's so true

  • i saw this at CES 2010 its already created just needs to be released

  • @YaarZePirate not really ther're just a concepts not really a finished and fully working products .

  • Why would i watch my own family on my tv? 02:20

  • LOL at the tv thing that stretches for some reason. These are some of the most half baked concepts Ive seen in some time and at CES no less.

  • cool but its in early age

  • Rolls eyes, just like the awesome concept cars at shows that nobody actually owns.

Ok the wrist thing I can see...basically a phone watch, yay.

That laptop is a ways off for sure, the screen technology for it is bleeding edge.

The TV, umm the TV is a TV with a computer connected to it, nothing special, a plasma ws with a pc connected to it, got one already.

  • Better start saving up now...

  • cool

  • i want it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • same idea, different color :)

    nokia concept :

    watch?v=IX-gTobCJHs

  • ps3 theme?

  • Looks like some interesting devices...

  • wow...so nice ...like it so much

  • Holy fuck. When they make this shit, I'm buying it. I don't care how much it costs, I'm fucking buying it!

  • I came

    Twice

  • WOW... Sweet :>
