I literally just sat here and watched the whole thing with my mouth side open in amazement. I don't posses 1/100th of the degree of skill you have, you played that cello beautifully and did the song justice. Seriously great work - it must be peaceful to sit and create such a sound on your own like that.

This was soo cool. How did you get the notes for the song? I just want the melody. That is an electric cello right? It is really cool. It looks like the outside isn't there! Any way it sounds different a little so will the finger placements be the same? I am not quite sure because it might just be the video. That was awesome though.

With all due credit to all the other "Wind" covers on youtube, Mr. Freij, your cello cover is by far the best tribute to Akeboshi I have ever heard. If you wouldn't mind me asking, what is the function of those two pieces of musical equipment at your feet? Are they meant to capture and repeat the chords that you last played?

@IAreStupid Thank you for your kind words. The one to the right (from the cameras view) is the BOSS GT-10 Guitar Effects Processor. The one to the left is the BOSS RC-50 Loop Station.

The GT-10 adds "reverb" and "octave down" possibilities and is able to loop aswell, but the loop function is not used in this clip. The BOSS RC-50 is able to save music that's recorded in 3 different banks, which you then can control in a lot of different ways. Thanks again!
