1,000lb test kite line, braded polyester made for the big boys. Don't get it wrapped around your hand however. Last year I tore the sag band out of 2 knuckles by having it wrapped around my hand whe the seabreeze came up quick in the morning and I didn not have it anchored. (It tried to drag me down the beach and like a fool I wrapped it around my hand so it wouldn't get away.) - Randy
@pokerguy17 I was told that 1,000lb line should be used especially when on a beach where high steady winds can happen or when towing excessive line laundry or advertising. Don't shoot the messanger, that's just what I've been told. :)

Doesn't 1,000 lb line seem excessive? I have a 6 foot delta kite and I use 150 lb line, even though 50 lb is recommended.
