I love this song.^^ It kinda means, to me, that even people in power like the President or dictator's like Hitler started as young, innocent kids. Then they rose to power and had the power to do anything they wished. They could kill a whole race/religion (Hitler) or choose to help people and set a whole race free (Martin Luther King Jr./Lincoln). And the thing is, even Hitler must've thought he was doing something right, in a twisted way of course. That's my take on it.^^

@TheDancingToaster Yeah, kinda.^^ It's actually about two kids who grew up together, but ended up taking two different paths in life. The first one became anti-war (he's the first verse and chorus) his friend decided to enter the government and ended up kinda like a dictator, in a sense. He ends up killing his friend in the end when his friend and all the other peace and freedom-lovers rebelled against him. It's actually quite sad. But yes, I do agree with you too.=D
