  • this is one of the first vids where i feel like i can totally comprehend whats going on, im a high school trumpet player and im totally diggin what your doing here. thanks man!

  • @SuperYouGerT Awesome! Glad it's a little help, keep up the practice.

  • That's because I just want so much to to learn.

The problem is the mind learns faster than the hands!

Keep it up, good work. I really appreciate there are some people out there sharing their knowledge for free.

  • Hey Brannon, thanks a lot for all these leesons. Lot of effort put into them and you know your stuff very well.

I started learning 3 months ago and found I like jazz so that's why I found your channell. Some things are too advanced for me but others I can understand. Will keep watching and trying.

    Cheers.

  • Excellent attitude man! These lessons are much farther advanced than 3 months...much farther. If you can understand some of this, you are way ahead of your pack, trust me. Congrats! Im so glad you can learn a bit from me, thanks alot.

  • Thanks a lot. That makes me wanna continue, I appreciate it.

Concerning your suggestion...I appreciate your insight, and keep questions coming please. But ultimately I want my viewers to understand that I have a different teaching approach. I bypass scalar appraoches as I feel they are superfluous and unnessecary. If you do indeed already know the modes, you can use them in reference to my "reference points" to put things in perspective. But I teach an altogether different apprach to learning

  • Nice ideas. It's really thoughtful of you to produce all these video lessons. I'm sure they are helpful to many people.

Was wondering if you might produce a lesson or two dealing with some nice runs/licks off the 5 major scale patterns. These could have widespread application and help folks develop some confidence playing over 2-5-1's, for example.

    Thanks again, and great work!

  • Hey, These videos seem awesome. I've only briefly looked at them, but I appreciate your work.

  • I guess it didn't cut out after all
