Nice review Glenn. I remember seeing this 20 years ago. Not the best horror film made, but definately not the worst. A point of interest was that the SFX was done in this film by John Carl Buechler, just a few years before 'Prison' and 'Friday The 13th VII : The New Blood'. And it's great to see Marjoe Gortner in this film, again just a few years before he played 'The Cobra' in 'American Ninja 3 : Bloodhunt'.
I really enjoyed Mausoleum (borrowed it from my granddad of all people). The laughing gardener at the end was hilarious. Bobbie Bresee possessed a smashing rack of lamb too.
I have this one on the "Horror Classics" video label, though I've no idea if this version is cut or not. Good cover....shame about the film! Mind you, it is quite entertaining if you're VERY stoned! What the Hell, SUPERSTITION and EVILSPEAK were MUCH better than this!
Amazing for a movie that slightly cheesy and bizarre has been the bane of my memories for a very long time. I only remember 4 scenes since seeing this as a kid. 4 scenes (including what I fancied as a death by re-shifting into one of those large seashell pasta shapes) and never remembering what the title was!
Wadda ya mean "stereotypical"? I thought all black housekeepers were like that? I'm sure we all remember the one from "Tom & Jerry", who you only saw from the knees down?
The sad this is how hard these movies are to find in good quality or uncut. I think my copy of beyond the door 2 is cut- can't tell. haven't bothered to watch it yet; Im still to shocked by how faded the box is.
I saw this when I was about eight. Really miss those mom and pop video stores. I'm still trying to track down a film I saw at roughly the same time in my childhood. I think it was Italian, had this scene where one of the main characters had his hands smashed to mush by rock-wielding zombie and then his arms broken on a wheel. Any Ideas?
Lol...ya know i just watched a cheapo dvd of this which is uncut....so crap yet so good...nice one matey...i'm so glad you said shoddy ; ) ! All the best...
I remember this movie, been 20 years since i seen it,but what sticks out in my mind about it is not the movie but the box cover art. Remember seeing it sitting on the shelf at the video store with a layer of dust on it I think i might have been the only person who rented it. lol As always, good reveiw.
11:38 HAHA! You can not only see the wires, you can even see the rail they are attached to! XD

The part when she levitates the guy and drops him on the spike in the mall is like a Mortal Kombat fatality lol
