That's nonsense. Schilt was destroying him. He looked injured, probably something with his knee or just underneath it. It was even unwise to get up and try again, so that's why the towel was thrown in.

I've only taken much lighter kicks, and I can only imagine how it feels to have a pro fighter of Schilts weight and level kick you around. It's surprising JLB withstood all that.

Check how Schilt went through everyone including JLB again in this years final. You just don't withstand that.

La tension entre les 2 combattant au debut est vraiment impressionnante.

Malheureusement, Le Banner n'as pas choisi la bonne tactique.

Il aurait du tourner autour de son adversaire, esquiver ses coups au maximum et faire des contres attaques fulgurante et devastatrices. En cherchant la confrontation frontale, vu que Schilt a une grande allonge, il s'est affaibli en prenant trop de coups et en donnant trop de pas assez efficaces.

Dommage, je suis sur que La Banner aurait pu gagner.

Why isn't that fair? If your knee is that bad you shouldn't be in the ring in the first place. Surgery or not. You can't enter the ring and think your opponent wont try to hit you there. A lot of fighters have leg problems (think of Aerts as an example) and other injuries. If you can't taje the beating then stay at home!
