No matter how hard I try, I just cannot seem to do the headshot maneuver. It's so frustrating cos I have no idea how I'm doing it wrong. This video makes it look SO easy but I just can't get it to work. :( I don't know I can practise it either.

The written walkthrough and controls page for TRA also include the exact key/button combinations for all systems, but remember if you've changed any controls, you'll need to substitute your custom assignments for the default controls.
@MadridNFRoses Stella helped me to do it by explaining it step by step to me and it turned out that I wasn't pressing a certain button which I didn't realise I had to press. Once she explained that to me, I got it no problem and the fight was SO easy after that. What format are you playing on?

Excellent video for this boss battle! I actually did this on the hardest mode and it was very an awesome fight. For those having a problem... just remember like they say... stay near the shields when they drop them and shoot like a mad woman. Once you have both shields, the battle is gets alot easier! Also remember that when you are attacking one of them in the stone version or while they are rage dodging you, the other will not attack you! :)

UGH i hate this/these bosses they really seriously creep me out and it doesn't help when I had just got onto the Egypt levels after defeated these guys and then my little sister goes and deletes my game D= but thanks for the video, I love your website!! xoxo
I expect it's still going to take me a few tries and a lot of swearing to get it done, but now at least it doesn't seem so impossible. I haven't been able to get the adrenaline dodge right once throughout this entire game. There was something similar in Legend iirc, but I was able to do that pretty easily. I must be short-circuiting for some reason.
@Komodoensis You're welcome. I'm so glad it was helpful. The Legend headshot was a *lot* easier than this, IMO, but practice does make perfect. If you have an earlier save or can replay the Lost Valley and practice on the T. rex, it may help. This sequence--with the 2 fast enemies--is really a challenge especially if you're trying to learn the maneuver for the first time. Good luck!
this is a great video, thank you for uploading it. i wonder what combat style you use? i've gone back and forth between all 3. i find it very unwieldy to have to hold down a mouse button with my middle right finger while clicking with my right pointer, all the while trying to use the mouse to turn lara how i want her. i finally settled on advance toggle because i don't have to keep holding the right mouse button, but now of course i run into the problem of target switching.
@femputer1 Thanks so much. Glad you like it. I usually use advanced hold combat mode but I play with an Xbox style controller (on the PC). It's a little easier on the fingers using the trigger buttons rather than the mouse.

@Lionzlove Were you ever able to do it and what system are you playing on? There may be a bug where if you don't do the adrenaline dodge tutorial with the bear early on in the game, then the dodge controls are glitched. If it's just a matter of learning the move, feel free to drop me a message and I'll help if I can.

@oglecowboy Congrats! Me too! I couldn't believe it. I guess you just have to be in the right place at the right time (i.e., holding the shield when they're close together and shooting rays at you). I've seen a few other players' screenshots of it and I posted mine in my walkthrough. Thanks for the tip about backing up too.
For those having trouble even with the video I found it easier to start backing up when the centaur raises up on his hind legs. practice practice practice. It took me roughly 30 minutes to figure out what works best for me. I finally killed em both and I never want to do that again :) Enjoy

@stellalune i have a simple way to defeat them, shoot them with the shot gun twice at close-medium range twice, then grapple thier shield after shooting thier heads. Then, stay near to the shields, and just as they start aiming thier green laser like thing at you, pick up the closest shield, it will turn them to stone. Now shoot them four times with the shootgun, it will kill them. If done this way, you can complete that boos area in under 3 minutes, great news for the time trail. :D
The first time i played this i was shooting at them for about an hour (their health goes down if they manage to bomb each other) before looking up a guide that explained that the grapple was supposed to be used ¬.¬
I thought this was going to be so hard after watching this video the first time I played this level (before your videos were deletd) and amazingly i flew right throught it!
