I don't believe this really has as much to do about terrorism as it does with a certain gas pipeline. If Pakistan decides to change it's mind and go with an Afgan pipeline, attitudes will change fast. If Pakistan keeps the current plan to pipe gas from Iran, pressure against them will mount. The U.S. will not allow that pipeline to happen, no matter what. That's my opinion anyway.

India, Pakistan, Afghanistan all used to be very close when they were united in Buddhism. Back then Afghans were Kushans, and Pakistanis were Gandharans, Peaceful Enlightened philosophers & artists.
