So I guess you're a huge fan of the fucking ice capades. If he's not obstructing the play and is not in any trouble of getting seriously injured (as the ref probably thought it was thoreson being a pussy like he was with the oilers). Then the play shouldn't be stopped. This is hockey, plain and simple. I dont know if you're American, because your hockey might as well be Aladdin on Ice but it's a mans sport.

For anyone who doesn't know, a cup protects you from serious damage to your reproductive organs, but it can still hurt your groin upon impact. The sides of the cup can dig in real hard, and can thus leave some serious bruising in your inner thigh region, and so on, but if properly secured and placed it will protect you from a permanent injury of a reproductive nature.

im not positive about that but he did have an ultrasound and a surgical procedure after the incodent and for a while it was thought he may loose one of his testicles.

That doesn't mean much though. It's very difficult to compare European stats to NHL stats because the skill level is so much lower. A point per game is great in the NHL, but in Europe it's much easier to do.

European leagues don't have secondary assists, where as North American hockey does. And the skill levels in the major European leagues (like the SEL, KHL, SM-Liiga) is a mid-step between the AHL and the NHL.
A point per game is great in any major hockey league.
The differences in the European and North American games are huge. Bigger ice surfaces, different rules, less physical play, etc. These differences are why some players thrive in one league, but not in the other.

Interesting, I didn't know that about the secondary assists. That does make those stats more impressive.
The rest of what you say though just confirms my point. It's very very difficult to compare stats between North American leagues and European leagues. Stats don't tell you anything, you need a proper scouting report.

Sometimes the cup can shift and expose a nut. And then again sometimes there is just a lucky shot that hits flush in the nads. A 100mph frozen puck could probably shatter a cup, much less your junk
