Just relistened to this after a week unintentionally and I can't get over how incredible her voice is.. it just perpetuates and fills the music. So astoundingly beautiful.
before he got bored with tonality, basically. :) Isn't awesome? a little slower than I think the tempo markings indicated, so it loses some of the clever rhythmic spinning of the line that I personally felt moved the piece along. but Jessye Norman basically PWNS my existence, so....
It is so beautyful, Berg will love it, can't be better!

Berg does such a good job of adding musical beauty and truly wonderful moments to the very dissonant 12 tone system!

Great. The best singer!! I love not only her voice and technique, but also the person behind the music, the hearth, the spirit.
When i listen/assist to her performances, i fell in it, as she could send me to another world. And i love whenever this happens.
She loves and respects music as it deserves to be respected. She is a really musician, in the whole meaning of this word!
Thanks for posting this video;)

Though it was probably unintentional, I like "hearth" in this context.
