I read on alot of sites that when recording on 1280x720 it can just record 20minutes of clip. Is It true ?

1) Or its in case of 1280x720? but we can record as long as we want on some other resolution?

2) Or it depends on the memory card of how much space is left?

@arsalankhan1 Hi, arsalankhan1! If it is set on 1280*720HQ/30fps with 2GB, it can be record up to 26mins. It goes double, if the movie size in 1280*720HQ/15fps. It goes different by the movie size and fps. This camera supports 1280*720/640*480/320*240 sizes and frame rate in15fps/ 30fps(60fps+320*240). If you have full of memory and battery, you can get a full-length film. Hope you find an answer! Thanks.

@arsalankhan1 Sure. But mind this! You could record up to 20mins/ one file. You could get several video files with 20mins. So you have to link each files for one video about 1hr. There aren't any cameras to record in one shot during 1 hour. Thanks. :)

What settings are the best to use indoor and outdoor.

What image size?

What image brightness?

What distance?

Does micro sd card affect the quality of pictures?

@temponame The micro SD card doesn't effect on quality.

1. I'd recomend program mode. You can operate it manually the set.

2. 2MW(1920x1080 pixels) is good for web, if you save it on the web.

For the rest of questions, it has not best answer, i guess. It will be changed depend on the condition.

And it offers shooting mode like Smart auto and Scene. A Beauty shot is into Scene mode. You can check 16 functions in Smart Auto mode. The functions are like the following. Portrait, Night Portrait, Backlight Portrait, Macro Portrait, Backlight, Landscape, White, Action, Tripod, Night, Macro, Macro Text, Blue Sky, Sunset Sky, Natural Portrait, Natural Green. Thx~

@uk88chic Hi, uk88chic! Did you mean the shooting drive? If it so, you can take pics in 'program' mode. Set your shooting mode in Programe and touch a menu icon. P>Menu>fn>2nd page and select drive. There are single/continuous/motion capture/AEB mode. If it set in continuous mode, it continuously take photos as long as the shutter button is pressed (up tp available memory) Hope this answer is what you looked for. thx~

@sebirius970 Hi, sebirius970! It did not support that mute. Due to the noise while optical zooming, you can select to record sound or not. Check this set. Menu>FN>voice on/off

i bought this camera last friday so i can use it the next day on my moms birthday and this camera rocked it gives you the best video ever my brother bought a sony camcorder with a 60 gb hard drive but my digital camera gave way better picture and sound then his...mine was very nice and his got fuzzy all the time..but i do recommend that you get the highest memory card available because it does take up a lot of memory thanks Samsung your my new favorite...mi camera was 299 and his was 499

By default, sound recoding is muted during video zoom (due to the noise while optical zooming). Is there an option to ENABLE the sound recording during video optical zoom, despite of the zooming noise.

In some video situations, I would rather record sound with the zooming noise, then to have no sound at all.
